Mine have started pawing open the cupboard it’s in and hauling it out to feast upon it in the night. I’ve ordered some big 6l Tupperware type containers from Amazon to put it in because it’s clear that they are going to find and open it no matter where it is.No matter where

What’s a one of them? Like a container? I swear I’m going to find they can use can openers some day soon.My wife and I ended up buying food vaults and that's the only way to keep the animals away from their food.
They are basically thick plastic containers with screw tops. You can store a lot of food in them and animals can't get into them. Just Google "food vault" and you'll see what I'm talking about. What’s a one of them? Like a container? I swear I’m going to find they can use can openers some day soon.
The real problem is my wife won't close the lid all the way sometimes, so the cats bump it off and free feed until I see their legs sticking out.Definitely recommend some form of food vault. They're not exactly cheap but the cost goes into them being made of food-safe plastic, they last forever, and you'll always have a use for them. I keep my coffee beans in one for freshness.
One of those picnic coolers from the supermarket should also do the trick. The latching ones can get a little expensive though. My wife and I ended up buying food vaults and that's the only way to keep the animals away from their food.
Home Depot has a food safe 5 gallon bucket for $6 and a food safe screw top lid for $8.Definitely recommend some form of food vault. I once had a really sweet 25lbs black cat named Ichi, and we also had previously rescued an unspayed female who had a litter of kittens but by the time she was rescued, there was only one who was rehomed separately. When we rescued our big guy, our other female cat took one look at him and then ended up raising him as her own, including daily feedings which is why he grew so big. That's my general theory. After working with rehabbers I've discovered that once a cat is 70 lbs or greater they completely stop listening to humans, and one they weigh as much or more than an adult human, they start looking at you like they wonder how tasty you really are. The only thing that stops them from acting on that curiosity is their respect for you, and your respect for them as a large, lethal predator.
Still, I would absolutely love to spend an afternoon with a smol puma.

Dogs won btw.
Shut up houseshitter. You sound like a feline houseshitter. TOTAL DOG VICTORY, TOTAL DOG SUPREMACY. TOTAL HEADPAT VICTORY
Yeahhh... look at that. Thanks. Glad I perpetually postponed buying one off amazon then, just have one I got for free along time ago.Home Depot has a food safe 5 gallon bucket for $6 and a food safe screw top lid for $8.
If dogs are so great, then why aren't they cats? Checkmate atheist.
I get that you're fucking around and being retarded for funsies, but this thread is half for posting cats and another half to carry on the memory of a beloved user who died.Silly shit
