Fatton could be funny if he got into it with actual military experts and Childed them on the basis that he writes military sci fi professionally.

It would be a lot better though if he was mouthing off about paint filled balloons in front of some genuine ex or current soldiers, in a bar or somewhere men and alcohol mix.

Especially tank crew.

If it was a way of disabling a tank as widely known about by experienced tank crew as Patrick is claiming, then surely there would be ways of preventing it?

He really doesn’t even think through his own bullshit.

It would still be funny if this was Patrick making these claims in a pub to a captive audience and being overheard by some tank crewmen drinking behind him.

The authoritative but not present friends claims would be a lot harder to pull then.

‘Shortly before’ - it was about eighteen months before wasn’t it? Kooky guy that stands around with homemade campaign signs probably ends up appearing on plenty of local people’s social media feeds.

While the back shape and weird gait is pretty funny, the shooter clearly has a fat (black) arse, not a flat Hank Hill like Pat - as other people have mentioned, Pat sort of balloons out from above his waist and atrophied social-media-shut-in legs.

I don’t think there’s any way that quintessential ‘all bark and no bite’ Rick committed a murder, but I’m all for continuing to suggest it, at least until the MPD bag the random street nigga ‘earning a stripe’ that actually did it (which, of course, they never will).

It’s fun because it’s an unsolved murder and there is circumstantial evidence which fits in implicating Patrick.

I agree though, despite my fun with it, I really don’t think Patrick has the guts to actually murder someone.

He talks a big game and is the biggest keyboard warrior around, with all of the standard keyboard warrior fighting claims.

Like he was a knife fighter, and instructed people in knife fighting despite there being no trace of evidence of this.
That he was regarded as an unofficial bouncer in hooligans.
While he might not have actually said those words exactly, the “real life tough guy”, “I have been in many bar fights”, “violence is a short visit”, “ I will immobilize you and hold you while law enforcement arrive”, and the nonsensical “I am the guy who will spoon feed your teeth to you”, lines all point to him wanting people to think he is a force to be reckoned with.
Especially when he is enjoying a beer and unamused by 80s action movie gang members or 50s movie bikers entering the bar and hassling the patrons.
Which as everyone knows happens at least once a month and the staff are always too frightened to deal with them.

It’s not that he is even a guy who knows how actual tough guys behave and pretends to be that.
He really seems to think Road House and other 80s movies and TV shows are a reflection of reality.

There's a non-zero chance of this actually happening. He could be invited to sit on a panel of "experts" to host a discussion. Sometimes these panels include sci-fi writers, on the bizarre assumption that all sci-fi authors are as intelligent as Niven/Pournelle. This is how he ended up on that Ancient Aliens rip off

I don’t post too often but while I’m here, TYFYS. You’ve provided some shit hot timeline filling and information about Rick’s ‘literary career’ in this mammoth (fat) thread.

The pepperoni production and swarthy skinned flatulence are parts of pigstory but it’s the factual stuff that really tickles my rickle. The lawsuit loss (‘didn’t lose, stalker’), the phone robbery (‘never eaten there, stalker’), the rage pigging at a spick delivery driver (‘wrong in every last delusional detail, stalker’), the contempt he provokes in basically everyone he encounters (PCJ’s posts on the other forum, fellow stand-up comics using him as a punchline, the vocal members of the sci-fi community that can’t stand him) - it’s all wonderful, and to have it documented accurately is brilliant.

The greatest unsolved mystery to me is their finances. If Niki’s PBG is effectively a shell company, and Rick really isn’t working on a day-to-day basis, then the AirBnB income is nowhere near enough to cover their living costs. Lynne has Rick cut out of photos and doesn’t invite him over for the holidays, I can’t see her giving Niki (and therefore Rick) a monthly stipend, especially as she’s retired and even with a top tier pension from a seven figure job surely that’s not feasible with her having other kids too?

I think Rick is probably doing some WFH stuff, I know others that do this and are still on their phones a lot, which would explain his ability to child people all day but still bring in some money. I’d love to get to the bottom of it though, and lift the veil on his ‘never paid a penny’ type shit.

This latest Bluesky ostracising is another great chapter, if I wasn’t such a lazy phonefag I’d mock up a picture of ‘How it started…’ with a screenshot of his faggy ‘Welcome children, buckle up, we have a revolution to start…’ Bluesky profile bullshit from a couple of years ago and ‘How it’s going…’ with him getting crushed by the troons and commies in his latest replies. Everyone hates you Rick!

I really don’t understand this line of thinking.

If Rick ends up with even six figures direct to him after all is said and done - after fees etc. - then he will have won, pretty bigly. Never mind seven figures.

He doesn’t deserve to win, ever.

I realise ‘deserve’ never has anything to do with it, but I just can’t countenance him having such a victory.

It’s possible him and Niki split up, though I’m firmly in the ‘she’s as bad or worse than him, just not online’ camp and don’t see that happening. I don’t think they’d wage any more lolsuits - maybe, maybe a defamation aimed at Leslie (herself absolutely a lolcow) or Brian or one of those, but I doubt even that.

I think things would continue more or less as is in terms of his ridiculous online presence, but there’d be a lot more posting from foreign beaches and he’d be able to reply to everyone, Rowling like, with some form of ‘I’m too rich to care, child’. Him and Niki would genuinely get to waddle off into the sunset, similarly badly - though more expensively - dressed, even flabbier, and with their fingers raised to the childs.

A fat payout, particularly a Rick fat one, would basically nullify all the shit they’ve gone through and they’d ultimately win. Fuck that.
