It's a big happening, I just can't make heads or tails of why are we capable of doing shit like the Maduro raid but jailing people who literally livestream their crimes seems next to impossible.

Like I have to assume their ineffectiveness is on purpose at this point. There is no way Bondi and Kash's blowjobs are good enough to justify why they aren't out yet.

Assmongoloid had to suffer through something no human being should ever do, enduring tortures even a Middle Ages peasant didn’t have. He had to play World of Warcraft after Lich King.
And it's the entire reason he's turned into being a political talking head.
Camping for a 1% chance mount with a multiple hour respawn timer on the mob that drops it during the Battle for Azeroth expansion was what slid him into politics; starting with "reaction" content to fill stream time while he waited for the mob to respawn, and then that moved to just discussing contemporary news which quickly leapt to straight-up politics.
I am amused to think that there might be a reality where Zach never became a political figure, solely if that one mount just didn't get put into WoW or had a better drop rate/respawn timer.

Lmao WHAT Persian Wars into the Peloponnesian War might as well be the sum total of Greek history to the average person and most historians also study the Classical period. It being named the Classical period in the first place should tell you all you need to know about the prestige heaped on it. The Hellenistic period has some attention given to it and then the Bronze Age and Roman periods of Greece might as well not exist with how little anyone cares about them.
Then I want in whatever circles you are in, because where I'm at so many "professional" historians can name the first 20 emperors of Rome off-hand, but I have to explain to them what a Lacedaemonian is. Historically you're totally right though, even back in the 90s most historians I knew loved Classical Greece and Rome equally, now it seems like it's just Alexander and Rome.

While I don't want to empower black-pilling faggots, I will say that most
doomers today probably believe that Trump is doing well in international politics, but poorly with domestic politics (or at least in terms of law and order). And in that sense they have a point, all our efforts abroad are in vain if we get conquered domestically.

And while it would be counterproductive to throw Trump under the bus, I do think he really needs to do something to rebuild domestic morale and fast. Then again, this might all be a necessary evil to get lazy ass Republicans out to vote in the midterms, remind them what happens if the DNC wins.
Remember the anti-ICE LA riots from a few months ago? Yeah, me neither. These people only have so much energy, and it usually only lasts three weeks if they're lucky.
Though I will say that Minnesotans are a special brand of stupid, considering they were the ones who burned their own city to the ground over Floyd, but that's just the result of their Swedish genes.

If trump invades greenland with force im ok with him canceling midterms

can we get this to him somehow?

also no more indians plz mr trump.

Did you guys know 50% of the entire indian economy is "services:", thats how they cover up that most of their money comes literally from scam call centers
"I am okay with [ignoring the foundation of our political system and constitution] if we [put boots on the ground to invade an ally]" you sure about that?

also omg services is not just call centers. Services are electricians, janitors, doctors, landscapers, it's shit that isn't the physical purchase of goods

oil profits help the donor class, we DONT MATTER TO THEM, Tyras, my brother, im not dooming, this is reality, we are ALL VERMIN to the rich class, they dont like to TOUCH us, they HATE us. Its not a logic thing, you could make billions and you would still have the stench of poverty on you. Its something your BORN into.

Dont take it badly, God "blesses" such men with the burden of copious weaknesses they refuse to not give into. their lives are devoid of real happiness and their souls will be damned to hell but you have to know its not a "50/50" if the elite is working for us or against us, they all are as close to demons as you can get. (there are rare exceptions to this, they are either blackmailed, publicly maligned or assassinated, see Malcom X, The Kingfish, both kennedys and MLK as proof)

Given what is happening in Europe right now, that is an entirely subjective opinion. I would not prefer EU citizenship.

OK. People in Europe think that America is rapidly descending into fascism and we all have to hide from school shooters all day erry day. It is partially about subjective preference and partially about what makes the news. But the casus belli will be exactly moral high ground, that high ground being "greenlanders want to stay in the EU."

since this is A&N I guess I have to explicitly state that's not a reason that should impact American leadership.

you have no idea what Im ok with in 2026, dont you dare quote the constitution at me

shake the constitution at the hundreds of illegal "laws" imposed by the ATF

shake the constitutions at the countless people fired from their work for being against the jab

shake it elsewhere, id approve rolling airstrikes on Copenhagen TONIGHT, fuck bullshitting with these "allys" anymore

You guys know the story of the Melians? Also known more commonly as the Melian dialogue?

So its mid pelopenssian war, thats the war between sparta and athens for the entire known world (most of the Agean sea)
View attachment 8447359

Anyway Athens decides the need the independent island of melos to launch an invasion sparta, the islanders are all like "we got no beef, by what right do you wage wr on us" and the athenian response is one of the coldest lines in history, the final line is likely somthing you have heard before.

"For ourselves, we shall not trouble you with specious pretences—either of how we have a right to our empire because we overthrew the Mede, or are now attacking you because of wrong that you have done us—and make a long speech which would not be believed; and in return we hope that you, instead of thinking to influence us by saying that you did not join the Lacedaemonians, although their colonists, or that you have done us no wrong, will aim at what is feasible, holding in view the real sentiments of us both; since you know as well as we do that right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must."
Athens & Sparta were both gay anyway, I like the Ionian Greeks (poleis like Miletus) best - first philosophers among the Greeks & they founded the most colonies (chiefly around the Black Sea, as far up as Crimea & the Kuban). Too bad they had to live the closest to Persia & never really recovered from the buckbreaking that led up to Thermopylae & Plataea.

Persia dosent exist anymore boss

I can find Greece on every map from now until they dident make maps

I hate to cast aspersions but you might need to post hands, that above msg read very brown posted

Athens & Sparta were both gay anyway,

you know that part in the Phaedrus where Socrates explains how your reincarnation is determined by how well you can restrain your gay horny level?

maybe that's how turkey tom happened

I am with you on your 2nd and 3rd sentences being unconstitutional, I think there have been some concerning erosions to our political system in the last 25 years. But having elections is one of the foundations of it all. We've been peeling off baseboards and wall slats this whole time, moving up to stripping the load-bearing beams too is what concerns me today.
This is not a leading question in the slightest, are you fine with the US's allies only being South and Central America + Russia (+Taiwan & the Philippines and a few scattered small guys) going forward?

T-Bone at the National Championship game with his family, many such cheers!

yeah there is, the most important being that Greenlanders have EU citizenship which is preferable to American citizenship in many ways

you have to actually articulate this in order to state: I care more about not being droned than I do about Nanook of the North being able to work legally while he bums around Europe

(there are also major tax disadvantages to American citizenship)
us citizenship is more valuable if you are interested in working, moving up in the world, and bettering yourself
eu citizenship is more valuable if you are interested in being a lazy leech living comfortably on the taxpayers dime
