Why buy the cow when the milk is free?

If someone wants to sell information, they've got to A) actually have information to sell that B) everyone suspects, but only they can confirm, and C) keep their pie hole shut until AFTER the checks clears.

I knew Samantha would blow it. She should have gone to them 400 pages ago, before she'd blown her whole wad here, for free. I even drafted the email for her, but there's nobody better at chopping their own dollah than Samantha. After all, she called the cops on the only guy that was paying her rent.
