So they giving up on the live action movie? eh mad nerds are just sad to look at times. Yeah I get it Bebop is legendary anime enjoyed by all. but stuff like this happens when a property is well known. get mad all you want cause at worse the show is going to a be boring mess that tries way to hard to copy the original. or Hell a straight shot for shot live action remake. Who known it might be a fun episodic show. I'll not saying anything else until something actual materializes from its. Cause do any of you remember when they were talks of a Robotech or a gatchaman movie?
 
Even though I dislike anime, I love Berserk and Fist of the North Star.
That shit is badass! Though I don't much care for the amount of story telling in berserk, I enjoy Fist of the North Star. Is there any other animes like them? I love that shit!

Sakigake!! Otokojuku, Bastard!!, and Devilman may be what you're looking for. Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade is a good one, too.

And Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is a parody of Fist of the North Star, so that's something, I suppose. That's about all I got, though.
 
I am watching Legends of the Galactic heroes and Dragon ball z

I have never seen DBZ before so it is a experience and a half. LOTGH on the other hand is one of my favourite shows i have ever seen and i love it to death
 
A while back go I had the urge to re-watch Cowboy Bepop after not seeing it for years and holy crap it was a fantastic watch. Hell even the dub holds up pretty well for a 2000s era Dub. I also got around to watching Saint young man and it was pretty ok, I think it doesn't really work as movie, I'd think it be better as series of shorts. Still it manged to get a chuckle or two out of me. Finally got Volume 2 of Drifters and I think I've found a new favorite to add to my ever growing list.
 

Ok, from the looks of this, this might piss off a lot of people for their.......humor. If you know romcom anime humor, well.

If it's making fun of romcom anime, I'm all for it. This could just be all on me since I will always believe CLANNAD to be the best romance anime, but romance anime these days haven't been entertaining or refreshing. Even the romcoms are just rehashes of each other just with something slightly different about the setting/characters, only they end up doing nothing interesting with those differences. Last one I can think of that attempted that was Engaged to the Unidentified, which isn't a bad show, but it was still no Toradora.

I dunno, maybe I'm just hopelessly waiting for a screwball comedy anime.

I can think of some pretty screwball anime but they're all kinda old.

(Screwball comedy in the Tex Avery sense or in the 30s/40s live action sense?)

Am I the only one that watches obscure anime? I seldom watch popular anime unless it was part of my childhood (like Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, etc.).
