So, You guys like Jojolands so far? I think it has potential to be the best part.

Steel Ball run is getting an anime so Jojo might make a comeback with normies, not sure if that's a good thing

I blame Aniplex and Shaft not capitalizing on the success of the third film via releasing the follow up shortly after. Heck, Urobuchi wrote the script for the fourth film pretty much immediately, but the studio is only now getting around to it.

That said, in Japan at least, the excitement is still high. And honestly, Madoka is a show that I would argue did leave a lasting impact on many who viewed it.
 
Wonder if Fate will finally play a new episode tomorrow so we can finally get new content after years of just having the same OVAs...

Been watching Pani Poni and its been fun.
SHAFT (the company that created the show) loves using this post-modern art style and surrealism in their shows, mixed with absurdist humor and moe which creates a weird experience. Main and side characters are fully detailed while the background cast are doll-like clones or sometimes have inanimate objects which replace their heads. Objects in the show are often represented with real life images. Strange and cute creatures accompany the main cast. Also aliens.

And all sorts of absurd shit happens, at least from where I left off.
Its a very japanese show (in that it feels like a moe lsd trip ) with a good dub, Its fun check it out. Actually made me laugh a few times as well.

I'm tempering my expectations after Jojolion but thus far its been solid since it feels like Araki is actually staging a clear narrative rather than just randomly throwing shit to the wall. Only complaint is the the cast isn't quite there for me yet.

If Netflix doesn't fuck up the release like they did with Stone Ocean it'll be big hit.

Fate Strange Fake Episode 2 has aired. I felt like i went through a significant emotional event. It is fucking amazing. Probably gonna watch it again. But holy shit, A-1 Pictures cooked.
 
Gilgamesh acts so out of character with children, it's really wholesome after getting used to him being a massive asshole.

Pretty much, but Fate at its worst is still better than 95% of media. Just don't think about how it's non canon.

It is nice though seeing some of the ideas that got eventually recycled into other works, like the red coat that appeared in Witch of the Holy Night. I just hope it won't try to rewrite itself too much to fit the verse.

like, i'm certain he even said the reason why it was so sporadically released as a LN, even accounting for Narita never finishing anything, was because he wanted to see what Nasu did in FGO so his would be accurate

I like seeing different sides of the gold man. Started as a very stereotypical rich guy, but with every incarnation, he does something new. Now he actually has to be a protector. I'm fascinated on how he's going to be handled.

I felt like they were speedrunning the series. The novel and manga at least five you a brief context to what that is, for example when Jester appeared, Zealot got a brief flashback to previous Hassan's encounters with DA being Nrvnqsr Chaos, his beasts and other Da that they beat alongside Richard. The anime just ignores and focus on the action.

This may be the most weird Fate adaptation yet, I feel like they will skip so much stuff that will make HF very complete in comparison.

And Gilgamesh was ALWAYS nice to children, even back in hollow ataraxia, he values people that will come in the future so of course he wants children to be good,
 
I cannot wait for Gil's victory to be stolen from him like it always is. The vampire showing up is one of the reasons why I'm liking this show, they seem to be throwing a lot of crazy shit at the wall and it's a more believable battle royal. Everyone seems to be breaking some rule.

And the priest wins big points for the coffee move. If he's actually a man of faith then he should be able to fight the vamp, and he should want to. Also, pretty sure the dude who made the OST for XenobladeX is on this one, so that explains why Saber's theme is so cool.

that's because the kids all see him as a really cool guy they should listen to who gives them really cool stuff and who they have to give really cool stuff (jump magazines and daddy's fishing rod)

This is one of the few genuinely cool things in this entire shit show and it didn't need the souls of twenty thousand cartel prisoners to pull off.
