Someone alluded to this already earlier in the thread, but I can’t help thinking what an utterly miserable and pathetic existence Fatrick has. He sits there all day tweeting out these rambling, impotent screeds that no one cares about, except to mock relentlessly. He’s a bad writer who doesn’t care enough about his craft to actually work at improving his skills, and he’s also willingly given up parental rights of his only child. And all the while he just keeps getting fatter due to his unhealthy eating habits, lack of a proper sleep schedule, and insufficient exercise.

As much as one might be tempted to do harm to him for his moronic opinions and awful personality, the truth is that no one could possibly harm him more than what he’s already doing to himself.

It really is pathetic how he just follows marching orders. He’s never had a unique take from his fat retard skull other then hoping his seven year old daughter grows up and has amazing sex with lots of men.

I have read the book and seen the film but while I can’t remember whether that quote is in the film, I am going to assume it is.

Maybe a certain group of people could put this to the test?

Quoting stuff from books he claims to have read, which didn’t make it into film versions, and see if Pat gets it without prompting.
 
Doesn't Patrick know that Orson Scott Card is very conservative politically, against wifi password people, and is a competent author? Things that Patrick openly hates.

I have said it before and I will say it again, for someone who likes to call everyone who disagrees with him a Nazi, Rick is someone who in another life would have enthusiastically supported the Nazis. He fits the exact mold of someone they’d target.

If you’re not familiar with Carl Schmitt, he was a political philosopher and lawyer whose ideas were influential in pre-Nazi political theory and who later joined the Nazi party for a bit. One of Schmitt’s central ideas was the idea that politics is defined by the distinction between friend and enemy, where the enemy is a group that poses an existential threat to the friend. Politics, to Schmitt, arises when there is a real possibility of war between two groups who pose existential threats to one another. I’m simplifying a lot, but that’s the gist of it. I’ve never been all that right wing, but Schmitt’s works have always stuck with me since I learned about him a few years ago.

Anyway, Schmitt views political conflict as existential rather than moral or negotiable. It’s very easy to see how this leads into a desire for the enemy’s annihilation. This is the kind of framework Pat operates under. He believes that anyone who opposes him politically (or at all) deserves to be thrown in prison and exterminated, and he would gladly throw his support behind anyone willing to do it. You add onto the fact that he’s incredibly emotional, nearly incapable of independent thought, and known for books filled with racist and anti-semetic tirades, and you have someone who would gladly be waddling around in jackboots and a red arm band if he was born a few decades earlier. This is where you fled to Argentina, stalker.
