If what CUbadonum says is correct, Trump could simply choke Chavismo economically while inserting his own players into the mix, to drain their hold of the military. Economic sanctions usually are worth shit, but economic sanctions + a show of force like the one on January 3, may achieve something. Colectivos and guerrillas are the biggest problem remaining, since there is no way of removing them without a military revolt. But that military Revolt may be possible now, That Padrino Lopez was cucked out of the profits.

I can't give you detailed info like Cubadonum, but I CAN give a general summary of the situation. The paramilitary, military, and police are acting like a hornet nest, arresting random people, especially young ones. One of my mother's, friends, saw today some cops opening fire on some teens playing football. I don't know how it ended, since the woman just ran away(reasonable) I haven't seen so much movement since 2024 elections
