I'm still curious as to who this person was who LP wanted to target with his audience, Red Effect and ConeOfArc are the obvious ones, but LP's description of them being 'sweet' doesn't fit those two, I'm not so sure.

Maybe it reminded him of his time with the Russian tanker boyfriend he claimed to have, the one he said he visited in Russia and they got a crate of grenades from a crooked Russian quatermaster to set off in the woods together (if I'm remembering that story correctly)?

Yep he mentioned that was late 1990s or early 2000s which probably means he's lying due to his age

Russia began to significantly tighten up BS like that post 2002 or so so I doubt he was buying a crate of grenades in say 2005 onwards

Maybe, maybe not. Corruption is still horribly rampant in Russia, especially in the military. Just look at when they kicked off their "three day Special Military Operation" in Ukraine and units were grinding to a halt because their commanders has sold off their fuel reserves, ERA blocks were filled with saw dust instead of explosive compound, and hard body armor had been sold off and replaced with airsoft plate carrier fillers. The further away you get from the population centers of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the more I can see some quartermaster stuck in their career, no hope of advancement, stuck on some neglected and forgotten base armory out in the Russian sticks willing to fudge some papers saying a crate of grenades got used in live fire practice for some Rubels and a bottle of cheap vodka even today. Hell, whole functional tanks and APCs have managed to walk away to end up somewhere else in the world, so what's a crate or two of Soviet-era grenades that likely don't even have any paperwork attached to them anymore?

No, what I question about the whole story is some Rooskie who could apparently meet military fitness standards in peacetime and was competent enough to qualify to be on a tank crew would somehow find LardzerPig attractive and enter a relationship with him.

You still have to remember that as bad as it was under Putin, it was on a whole different level under Yeltsin. The whole global arms trade model got heavily distorted by warehouses of AKs, PKs, RPGs and whatever else becoming an extremely hot trading commodity. Got to a point that the main reason why the Americans wanted Ukraine to be disarmed of the old Soviet nukes was because they were concerned that they'd sell them forward to some other nation.

As for the fitness standards of the RUAF, they are not that impressive. If anything, piggy likely just likes little twinks who can fit into very small spaces.

Everyone was supposed to be super impressed with how very smart he is and only ever give him praise and positive attention! It wasn't supposed to be like this!
