lucas actually had original plans for an ST
sure, it involved bringing maul back and the current push to have him as some sort of crimelord in nuwars is actually Lucas' idea to put him in a position of power, taking massive advantage of the pre-existing criminal infrastructure of the galaxy you see him do in Clone Wars as well as the Empire's collapse.

Luke being absent was also Lucas' idea, but he was absent because he was rebuilding the entire Jedi Order from what was essentially scraps and newborns, not hiding away because he almost killed his nephew. These were supposed to be set a few years after Return of the Jedi.

The opening of Lucas' ST would've been focusing on Leia and Han dealing with the Empire's remnants with hints and shadows of Mauls growing influence.

Tarkin: "The Jedi are extinct, their fire has gone out of the galaxy. You, my friend, are all that is left of their religion, aside from the dozens of other Jedi still out there."

Tarkin: "This will be a day long remembered. It has seen the end of the Jedi, except for the tons of them left."

Yoda: "Luke, when gone am I... the last of the Jedi will you be, not counting scores of others roaming around there are."

Note that this was long after Order 66. By that time, most Jedi survivors met their end at the hand of Vader or his servants. Yoda and Tarkin had good cause to believe that the Jedi were extinct by their time.

Also, it was Vader who said "This will be a day long remembered. It has seen the end of Kenobi, it will soon see the end of the Rebellion." Not Tarkin.

It really says a lot about this bitch's priorities about wanting more women purely for the sake of more women around, with no mention about if they are actually capable of doing the workload. Granted it doesn't come as much of a surprise since IIRC Disney probably outsources a LOT of work to third parties anyway.

1) A clear creative direction
(I mean yes, but also one that isn't retarded)
2)Fewer canceled projects
(Lol no we need more canceled projects. like all of them. Also stop tryingto court the Reylo Femcels)
3) Stop announcing projects too early
(For a film blog they have no fucking clue how the modern media landscape works)
4) A willingness to move on from legacy characters
(Or just stop trying to ruin them to make your niggers and trannies seem good)
5) Understanding that less is more with Star Wars

I’ll take a galactic society in which the state doesn’t inflict Unit 731 on a planetary level.

Yeah this is the 50th time I've heard this happen, and every time before it was revealed to be fake and gay. I would like to know how we know that its true cause I want to make sure that i'm hearing this right.
 
This movie shit is all determined by who is giving them money to say stupid shit. Kennedy actually worked on some great movies in the past but blackrock or whoever wanted them to put in a bunch of retarded shit so she did. Now a lot of that money has dried up so they made her the scapegoat and out this new guy in to make star wars just a normal fucking show about guys with laser swords to get normal people back into it.

Well to bad, star wars sucks, everyone has moved on to 40k for space fantasy, and Games Workshop would never sell them shit.

Does it even matter at this point and I don't even think there is anything that can be done from top down to fix the state the series is in.
The only way I could even imagine to get people excited again is to make it easy to get the Star Wars license and let companies and authors make more Star Wars media and also let them choose if they want to use current Disney canon or the old expanded universe.

Like who? The Republic allowed corporations to enslave and experiment on sapient natives from outer rim worlds, and so did the Separatists.

The New Republic technically is against that, but with their military being too small, (smaller than the Old Republic, even) they can't stop someone else from doing it to you unless the Empire is involved. The only reason those miners from Kejim were freed from Desann's experiments is because the Empire was involved. Otherwise, if it was the Hutts, some pirate gang, or the Vong in the early years of the war, no one is helping you.

One of the missions you can take in Jedi Academy literally involved people being kidnapped and fed to Rancors for the Hutts' pleasure. And that mission is optional, so if the Jedi chose to ignore it, those people are Rancor chow.
