March in NYC yesterday protesting the Venezuela strike - notice how 80% of these people are just White liberals.
How many actual Venezuelans, or those with Venezuelan ancestry do you think are in this crowd?

They're all Chinese, Russian, and Indian shills. Unironically:

There is no domestic socialist movement in the United States.

To be pedantic, Venezuelas oil production has fallen off a cliff under Maduro due to mismanagement. If they get their shit together because of this and start producing more (and aren't subject to US sanctions) an increase in world wide supply should lower prices everywhere including the US, even if the US doesn't physically import any Venezuelan oil. This is good in multiple ways: cheaper energy means cheaper everything else / affordability, reduces OPEC's leverage / influence, pushes back on green energy horseshit without having to do anything here since it now has to compete with lower prices, and probably more I'm not thinking of.
one more thing: lower oil prices put more pressure on russias war economy since they rely heavily on oil and gas exports to pay their bills

And China is afraid that their air defense is useless and that the US will effortless crush them if they invade Taiwan.

I saw the videos of a dozen SOH helicopters coming in low and slow across the entire city with zero resistance. They knew nobody would be shooting at them. They left the same way after being on the ground a half-hour.
This has nothing to do with Venezuela not wanting to fight back, they just couldn't. Americans jammed all of their systems and the only way to know there were helicopters above was to hear, see and be shot by them. I don't think Maduro was like "Hmm okay you can shoot a couple hundred of my guys and capture me!"

There is no domestic socialist movement in the United States.
America, not being a nation of peasants or serfs, is not really fertile ground for Socialism. We still pull the top side of the Socialists, there's always been an upper-class into Socialism and Communism, amusingly often monarchists and old aristocracy, and the Lumpenproles of course, but they'll support anyone who gives them shit. So for those who want socialism in the US, they have to import peasants and serfs, in this case the third-world. Marxism is war of the top and bottom against the middle, always has been.

Maduro is actually a brutal thieving tyrant. His collectivization and communist policy caused extreme food scarcity. There are some real horror stories from people living under his rule. He severely oppressed freedom of expression. He tormented people with his biker gang colectivos, when he wasn’t outright disappearing them. Can you imagine your country’s leader forcing you to attend demonstrations in his favor?

This is an interesting hill for leftists to die on.
You talk as if Maduro's tenure as dictator of Venezuela isn't the wet dream of every American leftist. They goon to the thought of doing to White Conservative Americans, what Maduro has done for years to Venezuelans.

This has nothing to do with Venezuela not wanting to fight back, they just couldn't. Americans jammed all of their systems and the only way to know there were helicopters above was to hear, see and be shot by them. Really does show just how good the US is at shock and awe. Venezuela's couldn't even muster up small arms fire against them.

There is a reason everyone, even America's worst enemies, want to be trained by Americans. You aren't going to find a group better trained or better equipped than the Green Berets. I'm sure a lot of Maduro's security spent their last moments wonderng why they let this fat asshole talk them into believing they could contend with a globally-recognized group who trains 300 times a year.

It also goes to show how traumatized the average American has been by the clusterfuck that was Iraq.
Shitty leadership that wasn't interested in accomplishing anything other than wasting American lives shooting at sand dunes has conditioned an entire generation of people to believe that our military is incompetent and can only achieve such a resounding victory if they are in league with the enemy government.

it took me 15 seconds with grok to find that information. most of this stuff is pretty simple when you do a little research lol.

If anything, I'd imagine China would be LESS motivated to invade Taiwan now. We just completely stomped the Maduro regime in a matter of hours without a single casualty on our side, minimal Venezuelan casualties, and achieved the goal of capturing the dictator.

Putin got completely mogged. Compare 4 years of meandering in Ukraine to this operation.
We timed it as such that we did it while China was there to meet with him. Note that he's a narco-terrorist responsible for most of the South American drug trade, with China being one of his suppliers. The timing wasn't an accident. It was a message. "We're no longer wasting our time in the sandbox, and we see what you're trying, Pooh."
So what, is Spain going to roll to disbelieve? A natural 20 and they resist the spell, Maduro reappears in Venezuela?

The EU is running under the Rules Based Order. The Longhouse. Trump is running under Great Man Theory.

It turns out you can just do things. The Rules Based Order literally can't understand this becuase Trump didn't follow the rules.

Anyway, all that said, it did make me think if we did go after Mexico

Mexico would have to get a lot worse to get the treatment Venezuela did. Venezuela was, of anything, and really good example to make. It's a country that has been internationally condemned, bilaterally, for over a decade. They can't argue that it was a bad target, only on the execution.

What it does, is makes a really good example at what happens when you don't comply with the US's demands. We've shown we aren't afraid to use our big stick and use it very well. Now the leaders have something to think about when they are told to curtail their narcos. It's not just their poor underlings that will pay they price of snubbing our diplomats.

Colombia is likely the next to get pressure, I'm sure we'll start targeting their drug infrastructure next. Argentina and almost certainly Chile are going to be in our camp. Brazil and Mexico are too stable and too economically connected to get physical pressure, they will be getting economic thumbscrews put to them, Mexico pendant pretty severely post midterms, Brazil will probably take a decade or two of slow boiling to try to decouple from Asia's influence to try and make a Pan American influence zone.

There has been talks about building up South America as a alternative to China for cheap manufacturing, developing a rail system instead of large container ships. This could be the start of that, hopefully continuing on MAGA influence and keeping advanced skilled manufacturing in the US and having them make cheaper junk in mass. However that's an even further target away unless China has is own massive fuck up and collapse/fracture.

If we removed Maduro for being the illegitimate communist President of Venezuela why did we leave his illegitimate communist Vice President in charge? Has anybody made sense of this yet?
We left her as a placeholder, she's not really in charge, she's there only until an election as far as I know. I don't even think she was in country at the time, hell she might have even been in on the operation.
