What is your evidence of this? Because you're pretty convinced this has to be the case. Is it because we didn't lose any American personal or assets? Is it because >YOU< personally disagree that it was possible? Why would his VP have fled to Russia, if this coup was to her benefit? Shouldn't she be talking mad shit about how weak he was and how she's going to be an even bigger and better dictator?

I have a million reasons, with evidence, as to why this operation was successful and why his cronies were allowed to keep living. Show me what you have that's convinced you that this was an inside job and that the Venezuelan military was in on it.

I saw the videos of a dozen SOH helicopters coming in low and slow across the entire city with zero resistance. They knew nobody would be shooting at them. They left the same way after being on the ground a half-hour.

Venezuela upgraded their AA over the past few years.

As we saw in Venezuela, and Iran, is that US countermeasures and tactics make Russian-made AA utterly worthless.

You can’t shoot down what you can’t detect, and once they hit the AA, the Americans can fly the friendly skies all they want.

The only people who will be choking will be the Indians. I have to give credit though. Imagine living daily in a world where the air AND the food has the potential to kill you at any moment.
