In one outline you have:
* poaching
* veterans with PTSD
I do think that this basic premise isn’t a bad idea.
A shell-shocked veteran takes a job as a game warden on a distant planet, using the time to come to terms with the trauma of war. Watching over the animals of the park helps them put the pieces of their life back together and begin feeling like their life is worth living again. However they inevitably get dragged back into combat when poachers threaten the wildlife, throwing their progress into disarray, once again they are forced to face the horror they thought they had put behind them.
There’s a decent core of a story there, the problem is that Fatrick doesn’t have an iota of the talent necessary to pull it off. He doesn’t have a jot of sincerity or originality in him, all he can do is copy what he seems in movies or TV.
Also the title is fucking dogshit. Herd Immunity? Awful, just awful.
