There is a reason why jails and mental hospitals are separated by sex. Men pretend to be a transgender to stay on the women's ward all the time because it's less violent and they have access to women and want a chance to hit it. Insisting to be put on a male unit as a natal woman is essentially begging to be assaulted.

My nearly legally blind maternal grandma rocked these cats eye type glasses because the chunky frames accommodated big lenses. Her going name was “Dee” (short for Delia) and my mom was born in December of ‘58 tho. I wore this style of frames for a little bit but they were so heavy (or maybe I was allergic to the metal?) I would get contact sores on the sides of my face where the frame arm touched the ear and temple.

If the discharge is this acidic / basic and heavy the answer is to wear a fucking pantiliner. If your underpants are getting bleached in the gusset from your pan drippings you replace the underpants and come up with a management strategy. There’s also the liberal version:

“We need to have people on the inside!”

These are both racist nonsense, and are very common in the U.S. in particular. Firstly, it is usually white trans people who are privileged enough to work in spaces like the military or government forces, and they are often indeed people who transitioned on the job. Secondly, these kinds of jobs are inaccessible to trans people of color and the work of organizations like the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc. disproportionately impacts BIPOC people domestically and abroad. Thirdly, many immigrant communities do not have access to these kinds of jobs, including trans people, and we still manage to make ends meet and even transition through the pathways available to us, at the same time that these agencies surveil, imprison, and enact violence against us. Fourthly, zero U.S. agencies have had transformational impact by virtue of there being more representation. They are white cishet supremacist institutions regardless of who works there.
