I can't find the post, but one of the tranny Ls was something like:

I'm being admitted to a male psych ward and am nervous (FTM)

I've been on the bed list for nearly a month and got a call like half an hour ago that a bed has come up for me this evening. I looked up the ward and it's a men's ward (I had put my preference down as mixed first but men's second). I'm suddenly very nervous, and it's a dorm style ward not individual rooms so I will have to wear my binder 24/7 if I don't want people to know I'm trans. I've been on T for about 8 months (I think?) but I don't think I pass very well and I have huge knockers even wearing a binder lol.

It seems like such a silly thing to worry about but given the political climate I am a little anxious. Has anyone been through this before? Was it okay? I'm mainly worried about other patients being shitty to me.

What could go wrong with 1) putting a vulnerable woman with a big rack in a ward full of unstable men 2) gaslighting a wardfull of unstable men by telling them the person with a big rack is a man?

Maybe I'm just a cynical denizen of the munchie thread, but when I see "disabled by a connective tissue disorder" (Ehlers Danlos syndrome), I think "definitely not disabled by a connective tissue disorder." Even the story of the pooner wheeling herself home crying to get a grabber to pick up her packer...if she's in a wheelchair because of EDS and/or POTS, it's a munch. Pooning out and Munchhausen are linked because they both attract people with personality/identity issues who spend too much time on the internet.
