Pretty much this. NPR is seen as neutral and not influenced by corpos so they must only have the objective truth in mind and nothing else. Also they had some good entertainment programming back in the day, no idea if they still do.

Apparently the libtard crowd has figured out the NPC update about those Somalian Minnesota daycare videos.

"This is a gotcha video and the daycare centers were probably closed for Christmas break. The only way you could possibly think this was evidence of fraud is if you have a racial animus toward Somalians."

Ironically, this is the whitest and most privileged insanity possible. Actual, ordinary working-class daycares full of brown kids don't take some long, leisurely Christmas break, because the parents don't get PTO and can't afford to stop work for weeks. Also, Somalians don't celebrate Christmas. White professional-class people have decided these fake childcare centers have weeklong winter breaks like a public school. :story:

To me the funniest part is how they've already pre-decided it's absolutely not fraud and aren't open to any interpretation involving fraud unless the person has been convicted and sentenced. I'm waiting for the point where the evidence mounts and they have to retcon this so they were against it all along.

You'd think they'd have some level of concern for their own precious human services and welfare programs being siphoned off to feed corrupt organized crime rings. But no, they're going with the same strategy as someone in 1926 saying "You're being unfair to Italians, how can you say they're involved in massive organized criminal conspiracies when no one has even been charged or sentenced? The only way you could think this 'Mafia' thing is even real is if you are already racist against wops and think they're inherently criminals."

Vance is much more savvy than Trump is about politics, he dog walked Walz in their debate and is much more charasmatic than I initially thought.
