Can you be canonized if you’re Mormon? I thought that was only a catholic thing…
It is. Maybe Mormons have their own version? TBH, I didn’t get the impression they were actually going to try it.

That Stem Cell mom is horrifying. Would you let a man who had his beard in a braid and who was wearing rubber toe shoes, among other oddities, stick needles in your kid? Is that a real MD or some woo chiropractor experimenting on a two year old? This one could be an interesting MbP case.

He is not even a Masters level in school. He his a "naturopath MD" his only schooling is a bachelors in chemistry and zoology.

I found the account through Empathic Mamahood (Robyn) they fly to Panama for this treatment every 6 months and beleive a lot of the stuff Robyn does. They paid $18,000 for "donor fat stem cells" as well. They have "patented" their stem cells. They then found the naturopath doctor and started going to him.

Here is a fact check of the place. (Archive)

probably not canonization in this case HOWEVER, mormons are a strange breed who posthumously baptize and marry people with or without their/their family's consent. they've done posthumous baptisms to celebrities, historical figures, and, most controversially, holocaust victims. they are a religion of improv.

This mother is taking her child to a doctor who is stating that only he can do liposuction in infants/toddlers and then shove the fat back in and that this is what stem cell therapy is.
I actually saw the same short randomly on social media and wanted to check it later but you were faster lol I firstly thought she's tattooing the baby.

From the second video: "Mildly illegal procedure" like what the actual fuck. You shouldn't do "mildly illegal procedures" on your baby unless you have a proper degree and knowledge and you know what you're doing.
This child has brain damage from bacterial meningitis with multiple seizures and extreme developmental delays due to it.
I'd hoped it was a disease that was proven to be manageable by stem cells. I'm not sure even proper stem cells treatment works for epilepsy but maybe.

I'm going to ask a very impolite question. Was this baby vaccinated against the pneumococcal disease? Because pneumococcal disease causes bacterial meningitis in babies. Of course she could have been an unlucky baby and got the meningitis from some other shit but I have my suspicions.

This is a good question because some denominations don't allow the worship of humans at all. I'm not sure if mormon allows this. But if she wants to become catholic it's actually easy at least for the living people. She just needs to meet up with a catholic priest and get christened. I think it'd be harder to christen Brie as she's dead but we don't know maybe Brie got a proper sacrament just before death.

This video popped up on my Instagram feed and I scrolled by it not realizing it was some woo shit and didnt even notice the fucking toe shoes that were popular on Tumblr in like 2012. Didn't think they'd still be around

The mother posted another video about it the child wasn't even given anything for the pain of the procedure when they started doing the "liposuction."

Mormons are a weird bunch. They don't really have a consistent view on worshipping people. The prophets are a big deal, but they're not the same ones we know. Think Joseph Smith not Jesus. They don't do saint worship like Catholics though, no one does really. So while there's no sainthood for her to achieve, there's nothing banning it like there is in Islam. They also baptize the dead regularly, it's a whole thing but short version is any dead person will do, either Anne Frank or Hitler. They did both. Brie isn't getting shit though, she was a girl and women cannot achieve priesthood, that one is non-negotiable. We achieve our highest calling by serving our husbands and helping them obtain their priesthood. It's cool though, black men can as of 1978.

As for Catholics, I don't think you actually need to be baptized for beautification. The entire process seems to be very "ask the pope" other than the miracles part. I suppose if you're performing miracles it proves you're in heaven, she may also have been young enough (or sick enough) to be granted de facto access, depending on which theology you follow regarding limbo.

It's not technically worship, they're not gods. A prayer to a saint is a prayer for intercession, that is, the saint may assist but as an intermediary, not a deity.

Beatification.

Sorry for the off topic but no weird ugly shoes are coming back because they apparently don't fuck up your feet. He isn't even walking around much he's sitting in the office.

The more you post the worse it gets. "I'm doing mildly illegal procedure and I'm optimistic about this but a small pill of Tylenol? No I'm cautious". How does the mother know EXACTLY how much pain her daughter is in when her daughter is nonverbal?
My opinion is that this procedure is placebo unless this guy is stupid enough to risk going to jail for a few thousand bucks.

Okay then whatever goes I guess.

Well I hope Brie's mother will do the "asking the pope" thing it's gonna be funny lol.

You can be in heaven without having beatified status at all. We have religious instruction classes in Poland and of course this process isn't explained at all lol

Yes technically but whatever you can find people treating saints like smaller gods and praying to them directly. Some denoms I believe luterarian ban a pray for intercession.

She was given anesthesia, its just that her mom is an absolute fucken retard!
The numbing gel was first, then 'pokes' which is MamaRetard's way of saying 'injection of analgesia'
Personally,,I think they will say there has been improvements etc from this treatment, but looking at the toddler, she seems to have a fairly mild form of cerebral palsy and so ANY type of physical development such as every child goes through, is going to be touted as being from the stem cells. I still haven't worked out why the clinic/propaganda seems to be touting this as a permanent cure, yet these people come back again and again! One family brought their kid 12 times in 10 years!!

Isn't everyone (that isn't a shade "too dark") that is baptized Mormon technically a Saint? They seem to call all baptized Mormons "saints."

according to le official site's archival and encyclopedia, you would be correct.

The Saints of the Church in the Book of Mormon are consistently depicted as the faithful followers of Christ’s gospel throughout various dispensations. [...] The term “saints” becomes a communal title for those who have chosen to bear the name of Christ or God, signifying a collective identity grounded in devotion to divine teachings and the expectation of redemption through the Messiah (Mosiah 25:18-24).

BPDBrittainy loves CHOP right now so she won’t say a negative word about them, but has Revie improved in any way at all since this saga began? It seems like she’s on as many meds as ever and she’s always getting sick with something. I don’t doubt that her care team there is competent and professional, but can they honestly offer a patient like Revie anything new?
