For everyone's enjoyment here are the current melt prices for all that "junk" silver people made fun of you for buying. A trash silver dime is $5.75 right now.

Holy fuck a silver half dollar is almost worth 30 bucks :story:

I made a prediction that silver would hit 100 before April but it’s really looking like we’ll smash 100 before the end of January!

According to my spreadsheet the gold/silver ratio is 57.2. A lot of very smart people on the silver bandwagon for a long time didn't think it would hit 60.

For spreadsheet dorks I finally found a stable public link to use in a cell for automatically pulling live silver/gold prices. I've used several over they ears but Apmex or whoever ends up breaking them somehow. These have been working for a while:

Paste these snippets as the complete content of a Google Sheet cell to display live price of:

Silver:
Code:
=IMPORTXML("https://www.investing.com/currencies/xag-usd", "//div[@data-test='instrument-price-last']")

Gold:
Code:
=IMPORTXML("https://www.investing.com/currencies/xau-usd", "//div[@data-test='instrument-price-last']")

It just won't fucking stop GOING UP!

I never ever fucking imagined this would happen. Everyone that said I was a retard for going to grocery stores and looking for spare change in the coin stars can GET FUCKED.

I posted my stack in this thread a long time ago and people said it was a nice size when i thought it wasn't impressive.
I think silver was like 25-35$ an oz back then.

With the current price it feels more impressive now.

Absolute insanity. Is Silver on the way to recover its historical ratio to Gold? Because if that is the case we would be looking at something like 200/oz.
It mining ratio to Gold is between 8 or 6 to 1. Who know were it going. They have used 1.2+ billion ounces and mined 800+ million ounces) of silver annually for the last 5 years. for the 10 before that recycling was keeping ahead of demand.
