You know how streamers have to hit a certain threshold before they can get paid on Twitch? Well, worry not! Affiliates can now instantly use the money they have in their accounts (Anyone subbed to them, bits that were sent to them, ad revenue, money from Turbo) to support OTHER streamers faster and buy bits and subs without having to worry about those pesky transaction fees like if they wait to get their money! IT's just generally all around cheaper than just buying a sub after the fees and taxes.
I said somewhere that I thought Twitch had until 2027 before it closed down. But seeing that makes me think it's going to be next year. Imagine getting out of paying people the money they earned by encouraging them to spend it on someone else. Which would then be in that person's account, and they could just pass that on to another streamer, and...
