The last Pokemon game that was released not only lacked replay value as it was crafted specifically for no-life competitive fags, but was also incomplete.

In addition to that, they're not even advertising it as a sequel to Su/Mo, but only an extension, much like what Emerald was to R/S, etc. My question is, if you were going to release a version with all these new features, why didn't you just release them in the original games?

And, one last thing, I highly doubt these games are gonna be backwards compatible with Su/Mo, so if you actually do want to play competitive, you're most likely going to have to purchase one of these two games in order to do that.

So, excuse me if I'm not excited for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

The same reason that Capcom kept churning out various sequels of Street Fighter II: to make more money.

It's obviously gamefreak squeezing every last autist shekel from the franchise, especially since there's supposedly new pokemon in the new ones.

TBH I'm in the butthurt 'y no sinnoh 'half, I want to talk to mai waifu Cynthia for more than three sentences in the Battle Tree. At least if there are Sinnoh remakes, she'll have mega Garchomp and her Spiritomb will have a weakness.

Man, people sure were drinking that "Stars" rumor kool aid pretty hard. I don't get the point of being so upset. I'm guessing if we get D/P remakes they'd be for the switch or a hypothetical 3DS successor, and they never jump systems mid-gen. Remember Gen V? And how B2W2 came out well after the 3DS did, to the point where it had a 3DS app game released for it(Dream Radar)?

The 3DS was out quite a bit longer then than the Switch will be when USUM get released. People are acting like this type of thing has never happened before and were too willing to believe very questionable rumors.

I'm sort of excited for the new Ultra Sun/ Moon game to come out (mainly because I get to see Gladion again) .

I do agree that a Sinnoh remake would have been nice to see as well.

Here's hoping that the new games have more new pokemon added to the dex as well as Alolan forms of other pokemon besides the ones from Kanto.

FUCKING PSYCHED FOR ULTRA SUN AND MOON

Solageo and Lunala look wonderful with Necrozma parts! Solageo (sic) looks a whole lot more cooler than Lunala this way so Ultra Sun it will be for me. Heh, but I'd always get the counterpart anyway. I did that in Gen V by getting Black and then White 2 for the sequel.

I really love the whole "Sequel" route they're doing instead of the lousy "3rd Version" crap they used to do. Diamond and Pearl's story was so fucking horrendous there was zero point in me acquiring Platinum back then.

I kinda stopped playing my Moon, for the time being. Mainly because I just have no clue where the UB's are located. I supposed I can just look it up, but I'd rather just be surprised.

I have made it to the battle Tree, and won against Blue, but I can't beat Red. It's so awesome seeing these characters portrayed as adults!

If I didn't mention yet, my Ninetails had a baby. How could I just not breed me up some more Icy, beautiful, wonderful White Vulpix's? I looooooooooove White Vulpix so much (Vulpix was a childhood favorite in my family back then, sentimental value, plus I love White).

I got a Shiny Fearow up for grabs, but I'd rather trade it for another Shiny, like a Shiny White Vulpix.

Oh, and please be more Alolan Forms in Ultra!!!!!

They should be able to tell you that again if you initiate dialogue with them again, from what I remember. If you haven't initiated dialogue with Looker in the motel, do so. You need to talk to him to trigger the UB appearances.

And, pray tell, Nihilego is located?

They're all found via random encounters in specific areas.

-Nihilego: Diglett's Tunnel or Wela Volcano park(It can be encounted in either of these locations, there is no wrong choice, but there is only one Nihilego total)
-Buzzwole(Sun Only): Melemele Meadow (2 of them)
-Pheromosa(Moon Only): Verdant Cavern (4 of them)
-Xurkitree: Lush Jungle or Memorial Hill (Like Nihilego both locations will let you run into one, but there are 2 to catch this time. You can catch them both on one place or one in each different place, your choice)
-Celeteela(Moon Only): Haina Desert or Malie Garden (Same deal as Nihilego/Xurkitree, with 2 of them)
-Kartana(Sun Only): Route 17 or Malie Garden(Same deal as Nihilego/Xurkitree, but with 4 instead of 1 or 2)
-Guzzlord: Resolution Cave(Bottom Floor only, only 1 of them)

To advance to the next ultra beast you need to catch all the previous ones, if you faint them just wander around to find them again.

After getting all of them you can find Necrozma, the 3rd legendary, in Ten Carat Hill's Furthest Hollow, also via random encounter like the Ultra Beasts

I just got a Charmander out of Wonder Trade, plus I got a Chikorita and Cyndaquil (my first starter ever) out of Island Scan. I feel bad sending over Pokemon I don't want, but I guess these guys are doing the same. Hope that one guy liked my Kadabra.

Come on Squirtle.

Edit: Got a Popplio and a level 100 Gardevoir through WT. Wow! Too bad I can't use the latter for a long time.

And here continues the ongoing trend of releasing "two" new games, then months later releasing the same games with only slight upgrades and the same everything else! 4 releases out of ONE whole game. (Even the brother and sister versions are virtually identical)

I'm not even bothering with Sun anymore. I won't humor this behavior.

Sit down. Black and White 2 was fantastic and Ultra SuMo is probably going to do the same thing with a completely new storyline. You're complaining about a game that nobody even knows about yet because you think this is some sort of remaster, which it isn't.

There's also a shitload of cut content in SuMo i.e. a complete set of low detail models and walking/running animations for 'mons that people suspect will be used for followers in the overworld like in HG/SS.

I'm so sick of fanboys defending this behavior, simply with the logic of "Yeah, it's a ripoff, but at least it's cheap."

If it was JUST 5 dollars, I'd agree, but no, it's a year. KB of storage for 5 dollars a year, when the feature to trade over was built in for free in every game before now.

This is literally akin to being forced to buy a game cartridge, but it won't work until you deposit a play fee annually. Just wait. With how Game Freak is getting worse and worse with each game, soon even that scenario will become real. I bet money on it.

They aren't getting any of my money though. I'm selling my never-started Sun copy today. I will never humor this behavior.
Screw these games.
D.Va was talking about the content that's actually in Pokemon games and you're literally just having an imaginary argument with a "fanboy" in your head about how PokeBank, a program external to the games, works.

New game coming to Switch, guys. Won't be out for another year.

I'm satisfied. I'd rather they make something new from the ground up than to just port old games from a weaker system.
It doesn't have a release date or anything. Guy just said "we are working on it."
