I must concur with this sentiment. Looking back at metokur's statement, it does look he implied you were Indian. Otherwise the statement doesn't make sense.

two days ago, i made the statement that vivek fucked up by using that term, because it was going to become popular. i was commenting that i was correct that vivek had directly handed people he sees as his ideological opponents, IE you, a heritage american, a fantastic piece of propaganda to use forever. the term is great in meaning, and has a good ring to it.

i don't actually doubt that you're a heritage american in any way, because your reaction to thinking you were called a jeet was visceral and hate-filled, as it should be. you should definitely calm down though, because you misunderstand what i said pretty badly.

If it makes you feel any better the Founding Fathers didn't seem to care all that much about Anglo-Saxon immigration as they were the easiest to assimilate. For example, at least a couple complained about Germans not learning the local customs and speaking their own language instead of English. There was also the notion of being wary of foreigners coming to settle in general because they bring sentiments from their homelands and are prone to dividing communities.

Ultimately IQ is much, much stronger of a determinant of success, social value and not being a violent criminal piece of shit than national origin.

National origin can partially serve as a proxy for IQ but only partially.

And America began aggressively filtering for and developing high IQ stock only in the past 100 years or so.

We got a shitton of European immigrants and we had various institutional ways of separating the wheat from the chaff. Our universities used to be decent too.

Before then, there was a lot of ethnic tribalism that got in the way of filtering for IQ.

Like shit like an aristocracy or legacy admissions to colleges all weaken the ability to filter for IQ. It was a really smart move for the UK when they started to award knighthood and other titles for technical achievements and contributions to society versus just happening to be a lucky sperm.

I've said this elsewhere, but Griggs vs Duke Power Co needs to be overturned.

Then I was incorrect. Given the "post hands" comments here, I assumed you meant the doomers were jeets. This is a reasonable interpretation given the brevity of the comment.

However, yes, I was wrong. I'll retract my statement about you being a childless incel. You have a good point about him handing his opponents a win.

Personally, I've said before, I think they always meant to burn MAGA in 2024 on purpose cause it couldn't sustain the contradictions or lack of outcomes that the grassroots part of the movement wanted. MAGA had to be MIGA. So they planned to give some token PR wins (meaningless vague self-deportations) but overall they intend to swing things back hard left in midterms and likely 2028.

Consider how many b-52s would have to be flown to overwhelm air defense that a b-2 is much more likely to be able to avoid. Then consider the cost of training new crewman for the replacement b-52s that would be shot down and the costs of trying to get the lost aircrew or their remains back to the U.S.


It’s not a simple calculation of “plane = plane”

I agree with most of this. I DID say "partly", after all! I'd prefer "not totally insignificantly" over "not significantly", but I feel like that may be splitting hairs :)
