Presumably people who were here before or slightly after the Declaration of Independence, ie, true original founders of the country. The types where you can find their surname in civil war memorials. To my great shame I must admit I'm not a heritage American, merely a composite of the Germans and Dutch that came over in the late 1800's, but by god we've been all-in on America for generations at this point so I hope to survive the inevitable purity spiral in the aftermath of primordial Americanism retaking its rightful throne of directing the country's culture.
