Incorrect, weird fundie obsession with Israel redates the creation of Israel as we know it today. Theologically most people would point to the rise dispensationalism and the Schofield reference Bible as popularising the interest in Israel existing to usher in the era of God's direct rule on Earth.

It's more than just Jews > Muslims at the root, but for your average slavishly zionist boomer muslim bad, jew good suffices.

Just wanted to share a little good news

Dutch founded but USA based company "The Ocean Cleanup" has removed over 50 MILLION pounds of plastic waste from the ocean JUST THIS YEAR and is now cautiously optimistic that humans are starting to "turn the tide" on plastic based waste in our oceans.

this is very far from saying we have the issue licked its saying we are starting to get CLOSE to realistically removing more year over year remove than is being put in, and thats pretty huge.

short video on it, shit like this keeps me in the game baby, rich smart motherfuckers putting their money where their mouth is to keep mother nature from erasing us is badass and exactly where our tax money SHOULD go but no

we have 21 airport ornaments and flyover fodder for the princely sum of 44 BILLION

while these guys need 7.5 billion to get rid of the great pacific garbage patch. Shows our politicians long term thinking dosent it?
 
Now we know why Mike Johnson called off work today and sent everyone home. He didn't want anyone calling out Bimbo Bondi for defying congress. If you wanted to dispel a 'hoax' this is the worst way to do it.

picked a brilliant time to do it, 6 days before chirstmas VERY few people have the mental bandwitch for poltics period much less something this heady

plus with the whole Brown Shooter nonsense violating the airwaves nonstop for over a week I think people are dead ass temporarily desensitized and will let this pass as most just wanna get through the holidays without a major family/personal issue.

Of course im generalizing, im sure all you fine folks are well adjusted enough to have large loving family's who all engage healthily with current politics without letting it cause divisions amongst themselves.

I’ve been a fan of these guys for years, it was funded by this young Dutch dude who literally had a good idea and went for it.

Modern “green” activists genuinely hate Ocean Cleanup because it actually offers a solution that’s not “make everyone’s life worse”. I’ve seen many an article about how “they’re not doing it right” and “people need to be taught not to pollute, you can’t fix it for them.” Usually from the Thunberg types.

thats like being a doctor and refusing to treat a patient because "they need to learn not to hurt themselves"

YOU FIX THE ISSUE FIRST, then you follow up with how to keep it that way, you cant finger wag a problem away.

Obviously you know this its just so frustrating how self defeating most of modern leftism is, they literally HATE solutions cause it gives them less to complain about.
