Kinda interesting.. Contrary to many who crying about the bubble this one make a point. Ai server are very expensive investment. ANd the revenue from them dosen't cover their cost...

The channels, which had a combined audience of more than 2 million subscribers, became a thorn in Google’s side in early 2025 when other YouTubers began griping about their sudden popularity in the age of AI. The channels produced videos with titles like “GTA: San Andreas (2025) Teaser Trailer” and “Malcom In The Middle Reboot (2025) First Trailer.” Of course, neither of those projects exist, but that didn’t stop them from appearing in user feeds.

As we've seen with these types you can tell them everything you're doing with A.I and outright say it's placeholder aka when you get the actual content made it 's going away. The brainwash is so crazy they are programmed to foam at the mouth at the mere mention of A.I so I always say these are the people who aren't supporting anything and are not fans of anything either. They're not the people companies should be listening to as the ones that will work with new tech to help build their foundation will move forward in the advancing world.
 
My theory on the AI bubble bursting is that it won't happen until the end of 2028. Why? Because Trump is in office and providing an excellent low-regulation environment, meaning almost zero federal AI regulation outside of a pornographic deepfakes bill, he's attempted to squash state AI laws (success to be determined), and he's allowing through big mergers and acquisitions.

A President Vance succeeding President Trump could continue the gravy train. A Democratic President would be highly likely to end the good times for Big Tech. But either way, this is a critical window in which the industry can get a lot done with a guarantee of less red tape. So even if it's destined to crash and burn, it could take another 3 years.

You guys should really start including the helpline number on these articles. As someone who's been coding for my entire life these stories make me feel so depressed and really make me think that I've wasted my life on nothing. I wish I would have built cabinets or just stuck with that retail job.

That's swell but I haven't been able to find steady work for over a year and I'm weeks from being homeless. I'm running out of options and this has never happened before. Then I see articles like this, think I'll never get a job again, and realize that I've wasted my life. Be glad that you still have a job since if you lose it you shouldn't expect to get another one.

If all you can do is program a minesweeper clone, you weren't the greatest programmer to begin with.

Writing code is only half of the job, and we'll need AGI to figure out the other half (dealing with humans and their vague requirements and design choices).

There's already plenty of loRAs trained in Disney characters and there are some very good open sourced video models (like Wan) that people have already finetuned for porn. Gooner and especially furry gooners WILL find a way.

I have two theories.

(1) Part of the training process for AI is getting humans to rate outputs from models in progress, and this is a job that some people in Africa do (archive). As the linked article will remind you, remote employing an African at a competitive salary for their third-world country is basically slavery and an insult to the dignity of the holy negroid, and it's easy to broken telephone this sentiment into "AI is black slavery."

(2) Every so often you see people arguing against establishing human societies on other planets on that grounds that it is colonialism and colonialism is bad. Applying the same "logic", having an AI servant who tirelessly does stuff you ask it to is slavery and slavery is bad. These people are fundamentally against any kind of human progress and will argue that all funding for higher endeavours should be redirected to subsidising the underclasses.
