Something odd has happened in the Jeb Boasberg vs the DoJ case I am following.
As we know Old Jeb has tried several times to pursue contempt charges on Trump and was shut down by the SCOTUS each time so he has moved his target to Christy Noem (head of Homeland Security) whom he thinks is responsible for disobeying his order to turn around the planes loaded with gangbangers, murders and drug dealers on the way to El Salvador, after the DoJ turncoat squealed about it to the DNC heads who then activated Jeb.
Jeb demanded that several high ranking people in the DoJ and the DHS turn up in his court so he can bitch at them and ask them exactly who gave the order to ignore his order. He's pretty sure only Noem or Trump could have done it so he keeps digging hoping to find gold somewhere. His wet dream is too somehow send his bailiff to the Whitehouse to arrest Trump himself for criminal contempt of court. Which is never ever going to happen Jeb.
So obvious the DoJ appealed this order to the DC court of appeals and somewhat surprisingly they issued a stay order immediately to shut down the threat of courtroom interrogations and even more surprisingly the 3 judge panel has issued
https://media.cadc.uscourts.gov/orders/docs/2025/12/25-5452LDSN2.pdf today. Keep in mind these are DC judges and are very anti-Trump.
Court Order #25-5452 is odd to say the least.
The DC court of appeals is basically asking Old Judge Jeb WTF are you thinking and you better have a good legal reason for doing this shit.
This order demands that Jeb explain his legal thought process as to how he has the right to investigate such acts by Federal Departments when done outside of his courtroom, how he intends to pursue appointing a special prosecutor to prosecute the DoJ itself and why his order should not be struck down.
Now for you non-legal lovers this order is weird because the Appeals Court is not talking to the plaintiff or the defendant here. They are talking directly to the judge presiding over the case, which is very rare (judges usual direct their issues at the lawyers even if the local judge dun fucked the pooch). The higher court is telling Judge Jeb to explain himself and his reasons for doing what he's doing. It's a higher court calling out Jeb's shit but it's a DC court as well so that's pretty weird IMHO. You'd think the DC appeals court would be egging Jeb on knowing that the SCOTUS will shut him up in the end anyway. But here they are 1 step away from a disciplinary action, if Jeb's legal grounds are not solid he could be in some trouble...maybe, it's still DC.
My guess is that getting his shit pushed in by the SCOTUS not once but twice has broken Jeb's feeble Jewish brain and so he's now got a raging hard-on for anything he can do to hurt Trump. I would further think that Jeb believes that if he hauls Noem into his courtroom he can not only embarrass her on national TV but he can twist whatever she says into an criminal contempt charge and get her to plead out that it was really the Orange Man Bad himself who gave the order to ignore his order (stay with me here) and so Jeb can then fulfill his dream of arresting the POTUS for disobeying an illegal court order and...I dunno...put him in jail somehow? I don't think Jeb has really thought his plan through cuz there is zero chance anything he does affects Trump while he's in office.
TLDR: a higher court has asked Jeb to explain himself (legally) and why they shouldn't strike his orders.
Note: none of this shit would be happening if Congress would just do it's fucking job and act on the articles of impeachment sitting on their desks with Jeb's name on it. It's just sitting there but no one will bring it up for a vote for...(((reasons))).
