This reminded me of the Window of Life streams from around the same time period as the OP. We desperately need someone to renew that experiment.
 
My nominess for ape repellent would be (1) the marches of John Philip Sousa and (2) any and all possible variants of Polka. OP correctly noted the need to exclude pianissimo sections of music, and neither of these have any.

The problem with Polka, of course, is that it moves from mere ape repellent to far beyond its target audience as a sort of overall repellent of anyone with an IQ above room temperature very quickly. (Personal opinion.) Consider that the industrial strength solution.



As an aside, I had a personal Berenstain Bears moment looking these up. Would've sworn it was John Phillips Sousa, with two "l"s and an "s." Apparently, nope.

Early on in this thread, I was told that polka is not effective against Mexicans, as they have their own polka music that they like. We can thank the G*rman settlers in Mexico for cursing all of North America with Mexican polka music. So I never tried polka, although I did put on a lot of Boeremusiek, which is kind of like polka in that it is a dance music, but without any percussion or brass.

Since the thread was featured, I guess an update is in order. Right now the entire broadcast system is completely offline due to absence of illegals and nigs trying to loiter or build encampments. There is only 1 potential encampment I have to monitor on the other side of the property boundary (within easy range of the sound system), and I'm not even sure anyone is actually living there. There's just a bunch of trash in the same place, but maybe it's just illegal dumping.

The lack of activity could be a seasonal reprieve, as the temperature drops and outdoor living becomes more intolerable. It's been pretty quiet in this area since the start of the summer and all the sturdily-constructed homeless encampments with tents, tarps, shopping carts, gas stoves, etc have been increasing in number in areas a couple miles away, which are not within easy walking distance due to big obstacles like major highways, creeks/canals, etc.

I do think Trump put the fear of ICE into the daydrinking illegal crowd that was so troublesome in recent years, and that is why they have entirely vanished. All the gang-affiliated nigs are completely gone as well, but no ideas there. There are occasionally still mentally ill and angry nigs passing through the area, but they don't try to loiter, and the broadcast system wouldn't deter anyone who is quickly passing through and not trying to loiter.

If trouble returns when the weather warms up, I may have to rebuild most of the broadcast units due to the age of the speakers. Right now I think 2 out 3 remaining units are down due to the speakers being in such bad shape after years of exposure to the elements. Fortunately, these 2 are not too high up and would be easy to work on and rebuild.

You did it king, you managed to mostly solve the homeless dreg issue in the most peaceful way physically possible. At least until the climate warms up, winter tends to keep these "people" in their "burrows."

Doesn't sound like polka to me. 🤷‍♂️ Sounds like some dude having hits nuts crushed in a vise as he screams "a - yi - yi - yiiiiii!" over and over again.
 
If I ever wanted to get people off my lot I'd have speakers set up playing a non-stop cacophony of cattle auctioneers. Not only is it loud but I bet if you had more than 1 going at once it'd feel like demons were in your head.
