OUYA 2 announcement incoming. In all seriousness, scrolling through the list of games, it's just dawned on me that aside from Helldivers 2 I haven't played or heard anything about any of these other games. I recognize some of the titles, that's about it. I wonder how many others are in a similar boat to me, I use adblockers on everything and haven't seen an ad for a new game in years - and I don't watch "gaming youtubers". The guys I work with play Fortnite and Marvel Rivals, a couple others play Warzone - one of the autistic ones plays Deep Rock Galactic, that's it, word of mouth only goes so far. E3 is dead, print is dead, and I'm not giving video game journos any of my time nor my money for their shitty takes. How do people find out about good games these days?
 
So ready for the E33 glazefest to be over. From these nominations you'd think only 5 games came out this year, what a fucking pathetic show.

You don't really if you don't watch tv or youtube, but even tv ads have gone down in quantity. Streamers is how I get my info for PC games since I follow some who always go through the Steam Nextfest demos.

No one watches the Game Awards for the awards. They watch it for the announcements and trailers. The Game Awards are a joke

friendly reminder to everyone that this game was based on real historical people who really did exist in real life, and going by the real timeline, the real male was really 15 in the real year of 1503 or whatever the fuck, and there is a gay sex scene with him in game. It was later patched to say he was like 18 or something. Also the lead dev is jewish btw if that matters.

Friendly reminder that the game is actually not entirely based on real people and that in the first game that character is literally referred to as a grown man in one of the earliest scenes you can talk to him in. Hans is literally called a grown man in the first game, he’s never been a child in the game and just googling what the character looks like makes you look like a retard.

Historically at the same time one of the main villains Markvart Von Aulitz was also dead in the year this game takes place in and if you read his codex entry in the game it says so even though he’s alive and you can meet him in the game

It was not later patched to say he was 18 a retard alert was put out by the developers to point out all this well known information. Only illiterate mongoloids who need people on twitter to tell them what to be angry about for the week believe any of this about kcd2
