It's weird that I saw this after looking up a meme and finding a godawful fucking left wing version
View attachment 8274285
funny because the original was a left wing one against the complaining about capitalism on your capitalist phone one

apparently, it's supposed to be a right wing edit of it, but i can't find the original outside of the retarded subreddit: so i have to conclude this is a what the rabbi doing type thing
which makes sense because when i first read it i thought it was making fun of right wingers

these people can't meme
“Android is the lesser of two evils”

Apple’s terrible as well yet you cannot say fucking GOOGLE is the “less evil” option in Current Year.

Reminder Marty O'Donnell is running for congress in Nevada.

I hope Senator Lindsey Graham gets run over by a Zamboni between the first and second periods at the Caps/Canes game tomorrow that starts at 6PM.

Check your local providers for availability!!

My new goal is to get you all into watching the NHL now that you are all Stargate fans. There is always lots of hockey to watch and we have a good thread for it!
Hockey is the white mans sport.

Exept for that black guy who murdered another player in England and got a standing ovation because racism or something.

Well actually technically it was a criticism of Islam, but Margaret Atwood has long since given up trying to explain her book to anyone. She's tried to explain that her book was never meant to be Feminist's Guide To The Patriarchy, but those fell on deaf ears. The feminists just interpreted her stupid book whatever way they wanted, no matter what she said. Eventually she just said "Fuck it. Sure. Give me money". If you read through some of her quotes on the matter, you can actually watch this transition in real time which is hilarious. By the time Hulu and the show came around, she's long since ventured down the Milk It path.
do you have any particular quotes from atwood about the islamic criticisms? that would be very valuable for me in my discussions.

Idk, gas is still like $2.80/gallon and now is the time for it to go up for winter.

There’s some shit that’s still shaking out because of how actually atrocious the Biden term was, but for example manufacturing is projected to have grown 4.2% for 2025.
Like I’ve said before, the AI bubble will pop soon, but the actual economy will kick into gear sometime next summer. Lots and lots of reshored factories opening up right around then.

Meanwhile, E. Jean Carroll, the psycho chick who thinks rape is sexy, has been granted an extra month to file her response to Trump's petition in SCOTUS.

Paging @Useful_Mistake also.

Paging @Useful_Mistake, while the "Rape is sexy" chick, E. Jean Carroll, still still has a month to file her reply to Trump's SCOTUS petition, we do have an amicus brief in support of Trump filed by America First Legal Foundation, see attached. Some highlights:

The thing is, Venezuela has full ass biometric passport control, and realistically she’d have to get coyote’s around, with coyotes likely having some sort of agreement with the regime, or sneak in and out in ship cargo.
The more I think about it, the more I believe this might actually be the case. There being corrupt/apathetic high-ranking officials who keep cutting deals (poorly concealed or not) with their opposition as well as foreign powers backing said opposition is also a pretty common feature across many decaying dictatorships, certainly extending to drug cartels wearing governmental aesthetics as a skinsuit like Venezuela's.

Assad's Syria during the civil war especially (but even before) the final years is a good recent example, even early on he employed Mossad spies in high positions (it's possible that other such spies who weren't uncovered in time may have helped feed information that allowed Israel to cripple Hezbollah later, such as his own probable mistress Luna al-Shibl, who died in a suspicious car accident some time after Qasem Soleimani suspected her of being a Jewish spy & who's posthumously leaked recordings of Assad shittalking everyone from his own citizens to Russia & Hezbollah more recently) and one of the key reasons for Aleppo falling in 3 days at the beginning of the campaign that brought him down was that a lot of the auxiliary militias the SAA depended on to hold the city had been subverted by the rebels over the past years of relative quiet.

It wouldn't surprise me if, in the next 20-50 years, we learn that a bunch of the Venezuelan higher-ups had been taking payoffs from the US & angling for better positions in a new post-Maduro order while he was still around. There's no loyalty among thieves, in the end.

If The freakin Atlantic is admiting this, something REALLY bad must be in the pipeline.
I said this before the run up to 2024 and believe it still to be true: if they pin the side effects of the vaccines on him he will double and tripe down and damage himself more. The dems should run on it in 2026 and the inaction on actions during covid along with putting corporations over Americans will just reaffirm what people already are starting to think. Every time anyone even suggested maybe Operation Warpspeed was mishandled he spergs out and says everything was perfect and nothing bad happened.

Like I’ve said before, the AI bubble will pop soon, but the actual economy will kick into gear sometime next summer. Lots and lots of reshored factories opening up right around then.
Too bad no one will have jobs because everything was outsourced and the good ones were sold to ciztroens of the modern soviet union.

The bubble is scary, but the reason why smart, honest people like trump is because they recognize he’s actually doing shit to backfill it. The market shorters want you to panic.

It’s really stupid how contradictory people’s beliefs can be, tangentially

Like the idea that America can be a full ass country of people who do nothing but service sector and “service exports”. As I’ve explained some months ago, “service exports” almost universally fall into two categories; financial products and consulting.

Consulting is essentially selling trade secrets. Not good, and much more of an exhaustible resource than any physical commodity

But at the end of the day, if you’re in trade deficit, the system is most likely losing money. If you have US sized trade deficits, only doing shit like letting foreigners rent millions of our homes back to us is keeping the appearance of being afloat, but once those lump sums are gone and our rent keeps going overseas, we’re absolutely fucked

They will not do this because they are equally, if not more at fault. And because they’re retarded, of course.

Intriguing. This could be a sign of what’s to come.

I legit thought this was Ozzy.

This Time Person of the Year thing used to be kind of a big deal I guess, but nobody seems to care anymore. Anyway, it's AI stuff of course. Not surprised. Should've been Kirk of course, but whatever.
It has always been a "who got noticed the most this year" contest, it's not an award. Hitler was Time's Man of the Year back in the thirties.

One of their alphabets is Chinese, but they thought that was gay and haven't replaced it fully yet because finding a substitute for characters that also have individual meanings besides sound is obviously difficult. Languages affect the way you think beyond the way you communicate. It's why literal translation of some Japanese stuff is some wild shit like Flying Thunder God, which really means something like fast divine thunder in the original language.
Hiragana and Katakana are both derived from Chinese as well by adapting Chinese characters to use as a phonetic alphabet. The Japanese written language is pretty emblematic of their culture, where they'll gladly take foreign ideas and concepts and integrate it into their own. You can see it in the modern day too, Japanese is the language with the highest number of English loanwords and there's a surprising amount of things you can communicate just by saying an English word in a racist-sounding Japanese accent.
