Contrary to their propaganda, the security measures of even actually competent totalitarian states are never infallible & even high-importance people under theoretically strict surveillance kept getting away from them time and again throughout history, even the Soviet Union had quite a few defectors (IIRC the first NKVD/KGB guy to defect to the US specifically was also the guy who stole Republican Spain's gold reserves, and had a falling-out with Stalin later) and there were people who got over the Berlin Wall (I especially like the people who made their escape via ziplining, like the Holzapfel family).

And Maduro's Venezuela certainly is no Soviet Union or even East Germany.

if the economy really goes tits up PM prices will drop somewhat before rising again. usually, at the start of a panic small time investors/ holders will sell off their stakes to get cash to cover expenses.

this is no guarantee so don't bank on it, but if it happens its a good opportunity for a discount.

The thing is, Venezuela has full ass biometric passport control, and realistically she’d have to get coyote’s around, with coyotes likely having some sort of agreement with the regime, or sneak in and out in ship cargo.

Do it once and ok, I believe you. Take a high profile trip to European awards ceremonies, and I’m going to think the regime just actually tolerates you or you’re controlled opposition.

Or it’s a gay op and she’s never actually In Venezuela

Who ever is advising Trump on the economy is trying to sink him. The affordability crisis is real and not going away with spin. These are the same issues the sunk Biden.

The biggest culprit is offshoring to jeetland. A bunch of young men and women not able to find a job or get ahead in life is prime conditions for a revolution and systemic collapse. Elons keeps sperging about white people and the birth rate but isn’t doing anything to help young people. It’s tiresome.

Idk, gas is still like $2.80/gallon and now is the time for it to go up for winter.

There’s some shit that’s still shaking out because of how actually atrocious the Biden term was, but for example manufacturing is projected to have grown 4.2% for 2025.
