That would actually be a good experiment, even if a theoretical one.Sure, some games are so overloaded with this shit that, if anyone actually bothered to mod it all out, there would be no game left to play (Dustborn, Veilguard, etc), but nobody is really asking about making those "acceptable", are they?

In this addon, eye glow presets have been tweaked from pinpoint around the pupil type of harsh glow to a circular line on the outer edge with a very faint glow. It was made to be a specifically different and less bright version of the vanilla eye glow that tieflings and dragonborns have. Additionally, all gemstone colours (topaz, emerald, sapphire, obsidian, and opal), all pinks and purples (minus drow pink and drow purple), a shade of teal and a shade of white now have a similar circular glow. It is a gentler glow, barely visible in well-lit environment and will mostly stand out only in shadows. |

This is an optional mod that selectively changes Race, Sex, Body type and in some cases Maturity of NPCs.
Midgets in leading roles, too many Half-Orcs and a sad lack of straight, Human couples plagues the vanilla game. This mod fixes all that and more! Turn Baldur’s gate back to the “mostly human” city that lore dictates. Note: we didn't just turn NPCs into humans; instead, we made changes on a case-by-case basis, with some NPCs becoming different races even if they were human originally.

- Gnomes and Halflings no longer hog physically aggressive / leadership roles nor are they torturers.
- Interracial and inter-fantasy racial couples are now mostly Human, with rare exceptions made for Elf and Human pairs.
- Hirelings are now more attractive and have more palatable races: e.g. the paladin is now a Strong Human instead of a Half-Orc.
- Bugbears and Hobgoblins turned Human where appropriate.
- NPCs have been Race or Age swapped based on their voice / dialogue / role. Swaps include Young → Old and Old → Young.
- We did not transform everyone to Humans exclusively. Instead, we took careful approach with swapping NPCs according to what would make sense in a set scenario, some NPCs actually were turned into other races despite them already being human before.
- Mute Female NPCs taking up guard / mercenary / Flaming Fist positions have been turned into Men. Voiced NPCs will be dealt with in a separate De-girlboss mod.
- More instances of Male Strong body type were introduced for a better visual diversity. Very rare instances of barbaric Female Strong were introduced as well, mostly in place of Female Half-Orcs.
- More than 400 NPCs were affected by Swaps
You're aware that writing and developing a campaign is way much more work than just changing the appearances and voices of NPCs, right? You are going to have to write quests and plotlines of every single companion, and build set pieces for every setting on top of designing the NPCs. In addition, you're going to have to touch on animation for the custom cutscenes. Finally, you're going to resolve bugs that pop up. In addition, what if the team is not strong with writing storylines? And we are talking about a team of 4 people, who probably have lives outside of modding.That much work could have done to write a campaign with zero wokeness, as the game does have modding tools, no?
That would require these modders to become game developers, which most are unlikely to do because of other commitments. I agree with you in principle, but realistically it's not going to happen.
The devs should be pandering the kind of people that look for these mods, since we are their paying costumers.

I know, but they took years to do tihs mod and they're still at it, so they have time. I'm not asking for a new game, but rather a new adventure module, like those that were made in Neverwinter. my only gripe is them NIGGERFYING ORPHEUS, the hair doesn't make sense either as before the emperor got a hold of him and put the guy in a mindball his honor guard could talk to him and thus, cut his hair, he isn't mindballed for a long period of time either to justify a hair growth that big, however they did right by making some old-sounding npcs look actually old.i get dewokifying the game, that's good and well but why change the races of some NPCs?
most of the changes were already made by nexus if you read the RPGHQ thread, they just sifted through the heads and changed a few things here and there, if anything the only mod that has the effort you implied is the gender swap ones like ser aylen or the de-girlboss and that's because of the voice lines.That much work could have done to write a campaign with zero wokeness, as the game does have modding tools, no?
I shall now attempt to play BG3 to its completion without having to stop and uninstall due to near crippling headaches. Any other recommendation not listed in this post, faggotry ideology removal or otherwise?*snip*
