The author is a true and honest woman, quite unfortunately. She's just an enby flavoured lesbian pooner being a legbeard.

She's also the author of a webcomic as well, and the art style gives away the female hands that drew it immediately.

ACKSHUALLY because Primarina is a starter Pokemon, it has an 87.5% chance of being male, 12.5% chance of being female (I guess Gamefreak just doesn’t want you to easily breed more starters). So that arguably makes it funnier.

I will step in to say…I don’t know. The curse that comes with the characters having great, interesting dynamics is the shippers, and I’m not just talking about Derek/Penelope. Also saw plenty of people horny for Reid and Hotch, but I think that’s slightly more forgivable. I do keep seeing so, so many people go on and on about Prentiss being a lesbian though, and I do not recall that ever being a thing from what I’ve watched so far.

I'll give some analysis:
  • Trying to say that someone's racism automatically makes them the same as an irredemable demon is a false equivalency. In Frieren, AFAIK, demons are born that way and ultimately cannot feel compassion or empathy. Racism is something that's learned, and ultimately can be unlearned.
  • Is there really "only one way to deal with that?" I had seen this video about this black guy named Daryl Davis, who, through sitting down with and having honest conversations with KKK members actually made them leave and repent. If you kill them, you only confirm the biases and strengthen them. In Frieren, demons actively take advantage of that weakness to kill. It's a false equivalency.
What's ironic is that this is the same artist that made that one fanart of Superman urging AI art users to pick up a pencil, encouraging them by saying "you're much more talented than you think." may have actually contributed to some AI artists trying to learn to draw. The culture war has ruined fandoms.

Damn, usually I see people calling Frieren a racist anime because of the aforementioned “demons are always evil” thing. Completely ignoring that they’d be easy prey for demons because they’re basically advanced mimics who use humanlike appearances and behaviors to lure in their prey.
