I'm really not. Both collectively documented COUNTLESS creeps on there. You are so focused on "it's not actually a problem", for this to be true you need to believe..
-at LEAST 99% of documented cases are completely fake
-countless "abused children" are in on it
-police arresting pedos are in on it
-lawyers suing are in on it
-Countries banning are in on it.

If you don't believe that, then I'd hope youd look at the bans, the lawsuits, the child victims, the documented cases, and just throw up your hands saying "yeah Roblox has problems". Instead of effectively trying to cast doubt on 1% of the entire Roblox scenario as if that dismissed 100%.

grooming isnt even really a problem on roblox though, its a problem on discord, you can't post anything remotely sexual without getting "############"

Assuming this is true (it's not), where do you think these pedos meet kids that they lure into private Discord servers? Do you think they're just passing off papers at the local park with invite codes printed on them?

This hurts to read, as an oldhead slungus-bro. Grooming is 100% a problem in Roblox in that Roblox is a pedophile hunting ground. Predators need a mechanism to find their victims, as they are not just randomly adding accounts on Discord, hoping to land on a child to groom. Predators are going to Roblox, where they know there are a lot of children and poor mechanisms for preventing child abuse. They will interact with children in sexualized environments (like condo rooms), and then push to take their engagement off Roblox onto Discord, where they can then have a mechanism to privately chat, have voice/video calls, share media, etc and then victimize children at that point.

There is a reason that these discussions happen more often on Roblox vs. Fortnite and other console games, and I think it comes down to lack of moderation mixed with user generated content creating hypersexualized environments that children can easily step into. This is much the same problem for VRC as well too, but I consider Roblox worse because it promotes itself as a primarily children's game.

I also think the same victimization pipeline occurs with YouTuber Discords (as you are well aware from the Glass thread), which I highlighted as a concern with VRC Troll YouTuber channels in general. Just because the victimization may not occur specifically on Roblox, VRC, or YouTuber Discords, doesn't mean that it isn't a problem, because they are all a pipeline to victimization.
 
Roblox and Discord are grooming cesspools, they start on Roblox then move to Discord, Roblox does nothing because it supposedly happens "off site". In my experience they couldn't do anything when I tried reporting them for what occurred when I was still young, just because there's an ass filter doesn't mean these people can easily get away. They use other methods like alternative spelling or if you watched Ruben, Schlep, or even NTTS videos then you can see they don't even try hiding it anymore.

I am surprised Guilded hasn't been mentioned considering it's Roblox's answer to Discord.
 
my whole point is that they start on roblox then move to discord, but discord messages cannot be verified by roblox, so they do not ban them as they have no idea if the messages are real or not, this is not protecting predators, they just have a standard for banning someone
 
A standard? Nigga, have you seen Star of David Baznazuki literally act passive aggressive when confronted on his safety measures? Even if it's "Fake" the entire site of Roblox isn't. Roblox is hiding behind some sort of statue of limitations but laziness because they want to avoid doing the right thing.

Not to mention they've taken forever to ban actual confirmed predators, or just allow them to host events, despite them being seen to do these things, also why the FUCK did it take them so long to get police involved after Schlep was banned? If your standard is waiting until they get concrete evidence despite the fact there's been enough evidence if you record it, makes me suspicious, they much rather ban people who cheat in video games then the people that are problematic.

Honestly, Roblox shouldn't even bother trying to perform validation of Discord or other 3rd party platform messages, as that is just not a scalable approach. Instead, they should ban anyone user who sends any message in-game which includes Discord (or other 3rd party service) link or Discord profile name. Then, they can use such reports from users to manually review if user X has ever said any messages that are sexual, include Discord/etc links and then ban appropriately.

Can you at least agree that we should ban anyone who is trying to engage with children off-platform, even if you don't necessarily agree with using Discord message screenshots as evidence?

There are a dozen and counting verifiable 'Blox-to-attempted-rape stories. People are uploading obvious fetish material to the store front and seldom getting banned. Watchdogs are being DMCA'd for speaking out about Roblox's atrocious community guideline standards. Roblox encourages minors to use their real fucking name as their funny block game handle
