Several people were shot in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, including at least one member of the US National Guard, according to a source familiar with the early reports and a law enforcement official.

The shooting occurred in downtown Washington, DC, near the White House. DC Metropolitan Police said on X that they are at the scene of a shooting in the area and advised people to avoid the area.

The National Guard did not immediately respond to request for comment. The circumstances of the shooting are not immediately clear.

National Guard troops from multiple states have been in Washington, DC, for months as part of President Donald Trump’s anti-crime crackdown in the nation’s capital, which has since expanded to other cities across the country.

CNN has reached out to the Pentagon, the National Guard, the White House and DC’s metropolitan police for comment.

Ponzi schemes like the global banking system require a continuous injection of "new investment" to make line go up without the people noticing they're being robbed. For the first 50-75 years, population growth was adequate for providing "new investors" to milk. But the inability to build, or eventually even maintain, generational wealth has resulted in declining birthrates.

In a non-ponzi economy, zero population growth isn't a problem, the economy can chug along sustainably forever. But "sustaining" in a ponzi economy actually means that your wealth is being redistributed to the banksters hollowing out your nation and people notice they are being robbed.

Eventally there aren't enough exploitable people in the populations to make line go up. But you can import replacement migrants to exploit from outside! It doesn't matter if the domestic population no longer wants to pay for cheap crap when you can use taxpayer dollars to pay for cheap crap for the replacement migrants. Then the next generation will accept the degraded standard of living and you can scrape a little closer to the bottom of the barrel to make line go up.

This country needs someone with balls who will disregard the courts and the bureaucracy. He's had repeated opportunities to do just that, and ignored them.

The attempted assassination and lawfare campaign against him gave him enough public support and legal precedent to disregard all kinds of court rulings, but he didn't. Iryna Zarutska's murder gave him a wide open shot at instituting hard line law enforcement. The public would've been on board with three strikes laws, racial profiling... shit, they'd probably have gone for charging judges who release re-offenders as co-conspirators. The murder of Charlie Kirk was an opportunity to roll up not only Antifa, but the whole left wing patronage network, from universities to NGOs. One opportunity after another, ignored. And now a fucking AFGHANI who snuck in under Biden's open borders murders a couple of soldiers. He could use this to push serious, real mass deportations-- to cut off all public assistance to people here illegally, and plenty more. Do you really expect him to?

He seized none of the previous opportunities, and I'm not going to pretend he might seize this one.
