It's not a new sentiment at all. Most people here and on the internet at large were okay with him before he went full retard, some wouldn't even care about his left-wing grifting if he actually put out content his audience has been asking for.
 
This is gonna be awesome. Karl isn’t currently falling out with a well respected member of the public gun community who knows how to keep his mouth shut this time. He’s beefing with someone who’s arguably deserving of his own thread here. Russel already took two passive aggressive shots in that one post, one of which implied Russel is partly responsible for Karl’s success. And that was just the opening salvo. Russel has consistently shown that he is willing to shit talk customers and argue about the smallest things. This is going to be a meltdown of epic proportions

I thought his 'Wild West Vignettes' or whatever they were called were great. They were generally really interesting bits of history that I had never heard of before, and I thought the little recreation bits he would do were a nice addition. One of his newer videos popped up in my recommended list last night, it looked to be a comparison video between an original and a reproduction Smith & Wesson Model 3. I think that would be right up my alley and pretty interesting, but it's Karl and I just cannot watch him any more.

Was Ian still part of the project when InRange put out that video about the black cult that got into a fight with the locals? I feel like that was the point where the rot really started to set in.

The consensus with everyone that knows him personally is pretty much 2020 (between covid and BLM) broke him. He already had the goofy politics and personal life stuff going on, but it was mostly background noise before the entire country started obsessing with that stuff.

I didn’t have a major falling out with him until he started going after Ian, who’s someone who just would prefer to avoid drama and beefs as a general rule even if he weren’t a public guntuber with avoiding that as part of his brand. I didn’t care for Karl’s politics sure, but I actually have some high decoupling leftist friends and we tease each other about it without issue, so I wasn’t going to pick a fight with him over it until he started going after one of our other friends.

Watching the Brutality staff implode should be a clue to everyone involved that it wasn’t intolerance over legbuttz stuff with them getting a cold shoulder from ranges and 2A spaces, it’s that they’re just intolerable people to be around with whacky politics in general. The nucleus for 2A4ALL has actually been around a while, I got approached long before Karl started running with it (actually after the Pulse shooting) by some NRA people who wanted to back me for something like that, but I started getting more into the free speech/anti-antifa stuff so 2A was a little bit on the back burner. Regardless, screaming at people doesn’t help, and it’s not going to suddenly change any time soon.

Without Russel and Ian, he would be nothing.

He randomly inherited viewership from Ian with the inRange project, and then managed to squander it and the steady Patreon income by not producing interesting content and completely ignoring any and all feedback by the viewers.

He was told years and years ago to keep his faggot politics out of the guntube content, and he just sperged like every lefty Lunactic does.
He thinks he is there to "teach" people about his worldview, and is then surprised when subscribers never come back after he tries to explain to them they are sheeples for liking the lawmen in old western movies, because AKTSHUALLY the lawmen are corrupt everywhere and nobody should defer to their authority ever.

Nobody ever asked for Karl to talk politics or make dipshit content about historic topics.

Every guntuber spergs over politics, it just comes with the territory. The only one who doesn't come across as totally obnoxious when he does it is Cokeman and that's mostly due to the fact that I frankly could not tell you what exactly his politics even are.
