Hey folks, I've been looking off and on for any decent spy movies on the Tube of Yous and thus far, haven't struck gold- best I could find were some movies, but 2/3rds of the screen is take up by some frame.
So, I thought about what else is going on, and at least around here this weekend is graduation weekend soooo...
Graduation Day (1981) - your boiler plate standard early 80s slasher. Nothing stand out other than some interesting editing choices, and tons of good ol' fashioned 80s nudity.
Gen13 (made in the mid 90s, not released until the 00s, probably as a tax write-off) - waaay back in the 90s when Image Comics and Wildstorm were taking names, they released a comic called Gen13. Pretty much the springboard for cheesecake artist extraordinaire J. Scott Campbell, the comic was white-hot until the early 00s, so much so that apparently they decided to make a cartoon movie from the characters... which was eventually canned and sent into a film warehouse where it apparently wasn't unearthed until recently. It's interesting if only for the bizarre 90s nostalgia attached to it. Plus it's animated and I know how much you spergs love yer cartoons.
Speaking of forgotten 90s teen franchises...
Generation X (1996). Back when Marvel wasn't Disney's whore and was still dabbling in other media, they released a TV pilot based on their then-popular comic, Generation X (think The New Mutants except more 90s). The TV pilot was pretty shit, even though it included such stellar staple X-Men characters like Banshee, White Queen, Jubilee, ...uhm and Skin... and... uhm... Mondo?
Needless to say, the Movie did fuck all except piss off people (read: me) who were reading the comic at the time.
So there ya go. Still got plenty of other stuff, but I'll hold those for another time,
