195,000 illegals with CDLs.

The thing about the trucking industry is that there is a legit shortage of drivers and has been for a very long time. Around 10-15 years ago we began being told that full self-driving vehicles were just around the corner and long-haul trucking would be the first industry to adopt it so almost overnight young people abandoned any thought of that as a long-term career (thanks Elon). "You'd be dumb to go to truck driving school", we said.

Those who didn't listen are about to make bank.

In the case of construction laborers, you do NOT need big ol' fucking training pipelines for them whatsoever. Roofing, pouring concrete, framing, etc. etc. is shit that you learn OTJ from the few senior white guys and foremen that are on the site. Most spics are doing absolute bitch tier labor that any retard from 16+ on could do as long as he isn't a limp dicked faggot. And if construction companies go under because they can't pay the bills from hiring actual Americans, they can get what they deserve. Other companies ran by Americans for Americans will swoop in like vultures to take over their work and hire on their actual skilled employees who ran the shit. Guarantee the dumb bitch doesn't even know what a day on the job site looks like, soft fucking cunt.
I'd disagree on roofing in particular - don't really have much contact with the other elements of construction. Everyone I knew who went into it spent months or even years on the ground, gradually learned the ropes, learned how to move on a roof, all the steps of the process, the peculiarities of different types of roofs. It was absolutely not some quick on-site training, and a lot of the guys on the crew saw training even a few people as a pain in the ass that fucked with the installation timeline - they would shittest new guys to make sure they wouldn't bounce after they took the trouble to teach them, sometimes for months. Similar situation at multiple companies. When you look at the demand for new roofs nationwide, how much of the workforce is illegal, you'd end up with a lot of people not being able to afford new roofs on their house for an extended period of time as the supply contracted sharply and the demand remained the same.

I've heard absolute horror stories about companies squeezing truckers financially, monitoring them in insane ways (it's why they're so annoying on the highway now, passing at creeping speeds, their speed is being monitored and they can get shit for going too fast even if it holds up traffic by clogging up the passing lane). The rent to own things are often scams, employers won't pay for their food and other costs, so it's not the moneymaker it used to be if you're just starting out and can't get the really lucrative gigs. A large part of this is due to the jeet infestation and dropping expectations. Like in most industries, the 'shortage' can be resolved in the way that any labor shortage is resolved: by raising the price of labor and enticing more people to provide it. The companies screech about a shortage when they don't want to cut into their bottom line to do this.

Only reason they said automation was gonna happen was to drive native workers out. So they could claim "look we need this cheap H1-b, we can't find anyone else!" It was always a scam to lower wages.

"THE PEDOPHILE WE ALL HATE IS SAYING THINGS THAT REINFORCES OUR BIAS, TRULY HE MUST BE TRUSTWORTHY NOW!" I just don't get their cope man. I'm not even saying Trump didn't so something awful, I don't fucking know. But also would I trust KNOWN fucking pedo and monster Jeffrey Epstein, who's DEAD, and this info is based on an email he sent while colluding with people who hate Trump?! It's paper thin so far.

If we get something solid showing Trump did something, yeah, let's fucking go. But so far it's been more "HONEY GET IN HERE AND BRING YOUR BOYFRIEND, WE FINALLY GOT HIM!" again.
The whole thing is funny to me, because it's just such a fucking non-starter on so many levels:

1) A screenshot of an email is not proof of anything
2) Assuming the email is real, it requires believing Jeffrey Epstein
3) Assuming you believe Jeffrey Epstein, it requires assuming that he was explicitly and literally talking about the sex act, and not flattery, appeasing, collaboration, etc.
4) Assuming you believe it literally was the sex act, it's not even illegal to suck of another man (just gay)

Bonus: This is all coming from the party of "its okay to be a flaming faggot!"

It's just like... They promised the high-caliber silver bullet that would bring down Trump and implicate him all in all these pedophilic rape crimes, and when they finally took aim and squeezed the trigger it's a fucking foam dart with a bent fin fired from an under-pressurized Nerf gun. Now they're just standing there with their little foam dart on the floor waiting for Drumpf to just abandon the White House and flee to Argentina...

A bunch of "right-wing" Twitter grifters are saying that abolishing property taxes is bad and only benefits boomers:
Being against property taxes going away is the most retarded thing ever. It's the gateway wealth tax.
Being against tax erasure in general is a major red flag that the individual is a communist nigger or has been successfully programmed to be a commie nigger without even realizing it. They always do that crab in the bucket class/generation warfare shit.
>I might benefit from it but people I don't like will also benefit therefore it mustn't be allowed to happen.

To add to all of that, it was DURING Trumps first presidency, when Epstein would very much be incentivized to drum something up on him/harm him. Again, that's not defending Trump (I truly hope if he did something we find out!), but it's a legitimate question/concern.

Then again, these people were very happy to believe gigantic pharma companies paying for "research" which then netted them insane wealth were to be believed whole heartedly (despite the opioid crisis being exposed only a few years earlier) simply because some "MAGAs" wanted their hair done early on in COVID. They base EVERYHING on aesthetics and emotion. No critical thinking at all.

"Young families actually benefit by paying thousands of dollars a year in taxes on their home"

They have to have been bought off.

"Hey Babe, lets buy a house and have kids!"
"Sorry Babe, the government doesn't fucking tax us hard enough. We need additional thousands of dollars coming out of our income every year if we want to buy a home!"

It's also totally fucking inorganic, because big corpos and property management groups don't want working families to be able to afford their own homes.

I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. I put on roofs as an untrained retard, several times, and once on a high, steep roof with a complicated roofline. Where are you hiring from?

I disagree but it is very much a chicken and egg thing. Once any industry begins importing cheap labor it becomes a race to the bottom as everyone else is forced to compete. The roofer discussion up-page is a good example. Once your competitor is allowed to break the law to undercut you the only choice is to adopt the same practices to survive and then it doesn't take very long before every roofer working today is an illegal. Honest people simply cannot compete against dishonest people when the dishonesty is allowed.

Yesss yessss holy shit yesssss get rid of property tax on primary homes immediately
The taxes will just shift to income and sales tax hikes to compensate since the revenue has to come from somewhere. Property taxes in Texas are among the highest in the nation and that hasn't stopped rich old people from buying it all up to rent to us poors.

The only solutiuon is for the bubble to pop, property values to drop and immense pain.

They had THAT fucking many likely illegal immigrant school kids in just one district in NC. Shit is fucked. Every one of those kids was probably enrolled in medicaid programs and other support structures, draining money from the federal teat that could go to supporting American families.

RE: Abolishment of property taxes.

The concern is that the lost profit from property taxes would be offset by consumer goods and business taxation, further raping under-30s who cannot afford a house in this economy regardless of property tax, and are forced to rent.

If I'm given only one vote against 5 boomers and countless illegals, I'd like to pay only 1/5th of the taxes. But the fear is that instead this will shelter boomers and other upper-middle-class homeowners and shift the tax burden to the youth, again.

Problem is, who besides boomers can afford consumer goods?

Sounds like bullshit.

Decrease property taxes and prices will immediately increase by the previously-taxed amount. If the bank was willing to give $X loan with property taxes included they will still give the same loan with property taxes excluded so the market will just adjust higher. We see this with every gov't subsidy and eliminating property taxes simply to goose the housing market is nothing more than another subsidy.
