My dad wasn't perfect, and his dad wasn't perfect, but Nick's children will speak of their father as a cautionary tale, not as someone who taught them practical skills and moral lessons. It's very bleak for me to think about.

Megan also wrote a blurb for the jacket of Steve Gosney's book for Christian men/families with a forward written by Nick Rekieta himself.

They have both defended Nick and his downfall to their own detriment.
 
My best friend once recalled a story. When he was about 12, his father took the wrong pill / wrong amount from the prescription and in result was for a few hours almost unresponsive, dizzy, mumbling. My buddy described it as a „super traumatic experience” and that he „thought his father was going to die”.
Nick’s house is probably full of such traumas, probably to a higher magnitude.
There’s no way his children don’t know. All fucking drug addicts have this naive conviction that others totally believe their lies. No, they don’t. Especially close ones catch up quick. Some might cope for some time, but they know.

About Kayla. It’s basically established that she was a hoe since… well, forever. Why marry Nick then? Was it known Nick will be on a trust fund in the times of their marriage?

Basically the two druggies were buying off-the-shelf medicine, carefully opening the capsules to empty its contents and then filling it with cocaine. That's my guess.
Skelly made fun of his slut goblin wife because she'll overfill the capsules like Romaine and Ricardo did to her. Skelly said he weighs out the cocaine to load into capsules.

Pretty obvious that mixing coke and booze means "everyone passed out on the bed" is entirely plausible and the likely scenario for Nick that performed it live for the world and Pomplun. He abused multiple substances and because of that, his kids were dirty, smelly and hungry.

Truthfully I think it’s kind of a dumb reason to sue someone but Elijah is a creepy little man so it’s funny af.

Also, can someone please tell me where the term “Qover” came from? I’m pretty sure it refers to Aaron, April, Nick, and Kayla as a unit right? Who the fuck came up with that?

Pill presses are largely how fentanyl is delivered. Over a decade ago, oxycontin was becoming a party drug. A 30mg Oxycontin was a blue pill with M30 imprinted on it. The source was pharmacies being robbed or drug cabinets of cancer patients. It's largely safe as the dose is controlled. Fentanyl manufacturers started pressing their drug into pills that matched the blue oxycontin.

Fast forward to today, Fentanyl is preferred by drug users but it still has the "oxy" or "blues" street name. It is a lot cheaper than oxycontin. Consequently, there is no longer any diversion of oxycontin to street users (teenagers might still get it from parents drug cabinets but the overdoses are fentanyl tablets made to look like pharmaceuticals.). The tell has been the sharp decline of armed robberies of pharmacies. Pharmacies were putting dye packs and GPS trackers but that is a non-problem now. 10-15 years ago, pharmacy robberies were nightly news events. Fentanyl makers popularized pill presses.

What are the chances that Nick instructed Kayla how to bring back 90 days of medication from Mexico and that she has a ketamine and aderall prescription? Nick desperately wants more amounts of drugs than his doctor will give him.
