It's a shame Nina has no charisma bc her reply was pretty funny. She said if Nick had just done weed and went to sleep he would have a avoided a lot of his problems. Nick laughed, then said that he knows himself. He'd have done more coke to counter the calming effects of the weed.

Fwiw, he seems pretty sober to me. He's struggling to come up with certain words and memory, along with a lot of pauses, however, it's not in an Ethan-Ralph-Xanex way. It's more... mid-life, and his brain is recovering from whippets.

This actually makes sense, a close friend of mine used to smoke with me and we settled for that, but when his father passed and he went 100% Meth he couldn't touch weed. "Just makes me miss speed!" was always his excuse.

Which is also one of Rekietas faggy flaws, why not do speed? Much cheaper, keeps going for aloooot longer and all that.

He refused to give them the code, and the only person inside sober enough to answer the door (the kid) also refused to let them in. At that point kicking the door in is entirely usual, especially for a case where they're looking for drugs.

Nick loves to spin them knocking the door down as proof of his conspiracy theory that they were out to get him, but if that was the case they'd have gotten a no knock warrant and done it at the absolute crack of dawn to really fuck with him.

My head cannon is that he was up all night, every night playing WoW or EverQuest and drinking. His former boss that was riding his ass because he was constantly late had him pegged as a shit bag allergic to responsibility. The narcolepsy diagnosis was conveniently lucky for him.

First of all, I don't recall that being mentioned in any of the police reports - odd, bc he did admit to owning one. Second, which of Nick/Kayla/April's drugs would be in pill form?

Coke isn't usually ingested orally in pill form, right? So, MDMA? Ketamine?

Lastly, are we sure he wasn't dealing, or planning to deal? His coke being put in the little baggies by him and April was always an odd story to me.

Think it's a combination of desperation and being dumb/gullible. She effectively got kicked out of the comicsgate/Nerdrotic sphere for being profoundly boring and ignorant, to the point where she was asked to leave the RealBBC (a podcast thing run by Az, Mauler & Nerdrotic) because she was damaging their viewership. After that her appearances on those channels became fewer and fewer as people realised she had literally nothing to contribute to anything - plain white walls have more going for them than this vacuum of charm.
