Just lurking doesn't do anything, the rep should probably become neutral over a certain amount of time spent doing nothing but that could lead to spooky ops or something. Haven't thought that far.

This guy's still trying to spam illegal content here? It's been the better part of a week. I'm almost impressed.

Reminds me of my days as a regular on IGN, back in the day they had a guy like this they called the "porn rioter" who would constantly flood the board with the grossest shit you can find on the internet.
 
Don't assume that if registrations are open, the problem is solved. The only solution that'll work on this guy is a prison cell, or some other scenario that'd make this a fedpost.

I like this idea and you could implement something like the old r9k rules where thoae 20 posts have to be completely unique in content (and moderated to ensure no gaming of the system). Registering an account should also require the prospective new user to curse Vishnu and praise Al-Zutt.
 
Null shouldn't have to make changes because some needle dick has issues.

If anybody comes across evidence of his law-breaking - raping dogs, horses etc. or his CP posts and if these can 100% be traced back to him then there is an email I've posted on Null's profile which people can use.

There's also Texas Crimestoppers at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477) whereby you can give information anonymously.

The more reports they get on him, the higher up the 'to do' list his case goes.

At a time when Null's got multiple fights on his hand - DDOS attacks, OFCOM etc. let's do something for him and put Conrad/Hoffman into a 'nice gated environment' for Christmas.

If he's Israeli then legal measures aren't going to do anything. There is no universe where the cattle goyim at 4chan or Null will be allowed to somehow harm one of them.
 
I love you Null, I don't know what to do to solve this. I've even thought about it, long and hard, in my feeble brain.
But I respect you for trying. This seems like a truly hard problem.

Practically all vatnik hax0rz are given carte blanche by putin to do shit as long as its overseas and as long as they are available for "operations" when needed

Those were the first cases like two decades ago, now its well know practically every country has black hats that local intel has told to collaborate if they want to continue doing this and not go to jail where skinny nerds get shived
 
Brief update. I haven't been giving step-by-step progress reports but I'm still working on the reporting feature. The goal of this project is to (1) make handling thousands of spam posts and attachments trivial, (2) allow regular mods to quickly deal with attacks without giving them direct access to extremely dangerous tools, and (3) re-invest my time into USIPS so this is not a total loss of productivity and serves a charitable purpose.

1. Emergency reports will be available to senior users. This is like Global Rule reports on 4chan. It creates an escalated alert for all available mods and alerts me. The post reported like this is sent to the mod queue for approval immediately (hides it).

2. Posts which are emergency reported are simultaniously sent to mod queue and to the report queue. Both have ways to handle emergency reports immediately.

3. Posts flagged go into an incident grouped by the moderator actioning the items. It looks like this in the ACP.

4. Incident management has its own interface that's a WIP.

This interface actually has a very special many-to-many relationshipmanager that looks like this. It's set up so that it's easy to carve out older content from user accounts which may be compromised.

5. Many incidents can then be bundled under a specific report.

This is the part I'm working on now. The next step is to write a process which lets the administrator (ME) finalize what is potentially thousands of items into a bundle, ship it off to NCMEC, and then completely obliterate it.

The idea is that once this is done it will be less time consuming for moderators to deal with attacks than it is for him to commit them.
