Post-Trump will be interesting but a lot can happen before then. Both parties have their own factions and power shifts going on and the lifetime politicians and their backers are trying to return to the pre-Trump status quo in a hurry. In any case, Trump will be out of the picture and I doubt the GOP knows what they will do.
