Thanks for the advice but I have it in hand. I'm just... not going to pay them! All my assets are in a 401k and car. Inherit my parents' asset? It's just going into Monero. They can go fucking bankrupt for the lack of care they give. Hospitals more dangerous from malpractice than actual fucking warzones, arbitrary bills they make up after the fact. There's no moral excuse to pay these fucking pieces of shit.
Not paying is not a very viable long term strategy if you have any touchable assets.
I can tell by your strategy that you've never dealt with collections, but they will eventually come for you. There a bunch of things you can do to make their visitation upon your life less bad, but you need to be alert for summons for court and once the courts get involved. The entire business model is based on fucking your life so badly you will pay them to make it stop, keep that in mind.
You have the wrong goal. Your goal shouldn't be to not to pay anything. You goal you want to have is pay the least amount to keep the official legal system from getting involved as long as possible, which is ideally not until you are declaring bankruptcy so your creditors are being notified they are going to need to scrabble for the scraps still in your accounts.
> Monero
Oh god, one of those. Yeah good luck.
regarding inheritance specifically:
You can have a lot of fun until the courts get involved, but if you have judgements against you in court even if you try to bury that shit in a crypto exhange where Funds Safu, the execution of your parent's estate will be logged in court, documents will be filed, and then when your creditors say "Where the fuck is my money" you will have to explain where that money went and I don't think "Oh I put that into my cryptowaller" will have result you are hoping it will have.
Anyway, I see you don't believe me but the stove is very hot and you've been warned.
My friends gave me the same advice. I give zero fucks about catering to HR cunts. All Trump did was put a paywall in front of H1-B street shitters and they're begging me to work for them every week.
Don't get too confident about that.
Nothing fucks an application like an employment gap right before the interview. The stance is that they won't know if you're done flipping out and the odds of you being there two weeks and losing your shit now that you are forced to have structure is very high.
Anyway, see above about the temperature of the stove and good luck, hope it works out for you.
A bit of a PL, but I've also got my own anecdote that opposes this view. My father smoked off and on for pretty much his entire life. Worked 30 years as a union worker in a trade that I wont name until he wasn't able to keep up due to accumulated injuries, then switched to a less intensive one until he decided to finally retire. Guy never once had issues with holding a job, showing up to work on time, or being a menace with his pot on the job.
I knew a guy, a lawyer, smart guy. Life mostly together, at least as much as any lawyer. I had occassion to learn that he'd had a heroin habit for 40 years since he was a teenager. He had learned over that time how to handle his habit, including parceling his shit out and having his parents and then his secretary when they passed in charge of the key to his supply.
The fact this one man was smart enough to avoid completely ruining his health and his life permanently with heroin doesn't mean its not one of the worst drugs in existence or we need to start removing social stima and legalize it.
I'm of the opinion that stoners are arguable the least obnoxious of all addicts, as well as the least harmful to themselves or others (not to say that they can't/don't inflict harm).
I'm sort of the opposite. You see someone crashing out in booze its obvious enough you make them get help.
Someone slowly ruins their life becoming a wastoid, and its quiet and gradual enough no one says anything until its far too late and their entire life revolves around weed.
Between alchies and stoners, I'll take the stoners every time. Maybe its just a prejudice due to my past experiences with the former being far more negative than with the latter.
The depends. The headaches and vomitting usually keep all but the most self destructive of personalities from going all-in on being an alchie. But stoners just destroy their lives quietly.
I guess the only real issue I have with the dishwashers and busboys getting utterly blazed at work is that it pretty much ensures "dishwasher" will be the apex of their career trajectory.
And again, some of this "strangers vs. friends"; stoners who do nothing but watch capeshit, giggle, and do the shit menial jobs you can do with what brain function weed leaves you with are obviously better to have near by (i mean as long as you ignore their fiending addict hangers on who will be looking at all that unwatched copper and start having dreams of funding their next fix)
than beligerent alchies.
But I can convince someone in my life who is ruining their life by crawling in a bottle they are fucking up their life. The wastoid is fine to wallow in their shit.
