There's also a thing on Twitch called "Subtember", where subs are like 20% less than normal. This is to incentivize users to gift more subs to their favorite streamers. This is the reason that his sub count dropped 1000 subs starting towards the beginning of October. These were gifted subs that weren't renewed from the people that received a sub. He didn’t drop out of college, he got a BBA from CSU San Marcos. And he was never an electricians apprentice, that was a running joke he had, apparently based on some guy he knew who was one and never had time to do anything because he was an electricians apprentice.
Anisa, however, was a college drop out. She was going for a degree in art history, but she was bad at remembering dates and bad at art.

Reminder that with the Content Cop on H3, these two were gleefully going on about how well the video was received, how all the hate and dislikes for it was totally fake and that Ian's real fans are not in the comments because they're "touching grass". Now Anisa has to acknowledge FIRST that this new video was a retarded idea, with Simple Ian gimping along 25 minutes later. It's definitely a change of tune, and it shows that things are looking bleak.

Even if he worked in the field he's most skilled in (lol, I know), which would be some form of videography or video editing, the guy takes months to put out a single video, and that's on subjects he's supposedly passionate about...the guys I work with are churning out a video a day, and they have difficult clients constantly demanding revisions and setting short deadlines. Ian crumbles when a boxing coach displays 'toxic masculinity', he'd be deepthroating a gun barrel if a project manager ever came to him with negative feedback about a draft and demanding changes. He's cooked, I don't think there's a path to gainful employment except in those tard factories where they have you sorting recycling for cheap.
