Because weed is for fags. Any other questions?
Bad news, the law is gonna hurt a certain section of the hemp industry but help the cannabis industry

This law is just targeting stuff like delta 8 gummies. It basically only effects people in states where pot is banned who were using the hemp loophole, it doesn’t effect places that have already legalized it

If Americans knew how fucking broke they are, they would revolt.

And we may see that soon.

Hopefully next year.
It's impossible to be broke in america. If you own nothing, have credit card debt, can't hold down a job, the system basically just gives you shit. It's not official but it just happens. Between debt forgiveness programs, bankrupcy protection, food stamps, squatters rights, social programs, and all sorts of shit at some point the system will just pay you money not to be a criminal. It isn't a glorious living but we live in a quasi-socialist system already and the middle/upper class foot the bill.

Talk to somebody who works at a state credit union some time, every one of them will have stories of brownoids who max out credit cards, call in to complain until a manager gets involved, then a month later that credit card debt is just forgiven (aka: passed on to the taxpayer aka: white america) and a new credit card is issued with a big finger waving warning not to do it again.

Then you have places that basically legalized crime, places where squatters have as many rights as actually owners, i've met homeless people begging on the side of the road who average $200 a day.

If you're willing to have absolutely no dignity whatsoever shit just comes to you, not enough to live a truly fulfilling life and build yourself up but you won't die.

Saw article about Civil War 2 speculation. Seemed to start out OK, then that article claimed there is "rising political violence among the right" and no mention of the left.

Stopped reading there. Forgot where the article is.

Americans have a really good quality of life even compared to other first world nations. Europeans make far less.

The average monthly salary in Belgium (rich first world European country) is €4,076 = $4,723.96
After taxes it is €2,609 = $3,023.53

The average monthly salary in the US is $5,774
After taxes it is $4,865

Food is cheaper, rent is cheaper, more job opportunities. There's a reason why people are willing to risk death via the Darian Gap to come here.

I know average is a shit metric with salary but median would take too much work to get.

Couldn't find someone else mentioning it but Thomas Massie voted against opening the government up. I know, I'm shocked too. Wasn't he running around saying how the shutdown was a distraction from the Epstein files? Is he in the files???

You always hear "the stock market isn't the economy", but both Biden and Trump have pointed to it as a signifier that we have a strong economy despite everyone else thinking otherwise.
So it's probably worth factoring in how inflation has affected the stock market returns to see if it's actually gone up or it was just inflation.
In the past five years, the S&P 500 is up about 90% give or take, so $1 of value in the S&P 500 in November 2020 could be sold for $1.90 today.
Official inflation statistics indicate 25% inflation since 2020. So, what would cost $1 in 2020 would cost $1.25 in 2025. So the inflation adjusted growth of the S&P 500 is $1.90/$1.25 =$1.51, or 51% growth. That's right, after accounting for inflation using the official statistics we've grown 40% less; only 10%/year.
But we know the amount of money in the circulation doubled since 2020 and other countries have also experienced dramatic inflation. We should probably use a common point of comparison to a long term, inflation resistant store of wealth. So how does it compare when we use the value of gold as the basis for inflation?
Gold has seen 120% inflation in the past five years, so buying $1 worth of gold in 2020, it could be sold for $2.20 in 2025. So by using this calculation, the inflation adjusted growth of the S&P 500 is $1.90/$2.20 = $0.863, for a loss of $0.137. So when using gold as the basis of inflation, the S&P 500 has actually lost 13.7% of its value in the past five years, or about -3.5%/year after accounting for inflation. Let me repeat that, you still lost money by investing in the "booming, all time record, about to burst" stock market compared to the oldest, most basic store of value.

I'll leave it up to you to determine which one is more accurate.
The economy is fake, it has not been real since the 2008 crash.

They always wear a mask because they know at the end of the day, YWNBAW. Fucking gross.

COVID was like Christmas for trannies, they got hide their man jaws and they'll never forgive anyone for ending it's normalization

It'll be interesting to see if they can pull off taking over the party now that the old guard that was previously holding them back is straight up dying off.

I agree, the situation right now is very precarious for the left and I've noticed a sense of dread among some of them about the old guard dying off to be replaced by the DSA and Justice Democrat progressives.

On the flip side you have many on the right, at least for younger right leaning people, there's a sense of excitement that still exists for the old guard dying off, giving an opening to finally smother out decades of neocon politics.

This is like saying "bad news, we're only killing niggers in states where they don't commit as much violent crime." Okay and? You're still killing niggers, so I'm still happy. A step in the right direction is a step in the right direction.

Will this affect THCa gummies? I never smoked or vaped weed but sometimes an edible is nice after a long day of work...

THC levels that would have been impossible to reach in the 60s
For 3 straight years in college i was a heavy stoner. Smoked multiple times a day every day and was as obnoxious and smug about it as anybody you've ever met. I immediately denied any negatives and believed all the bullshit about it curing cancer and hemp being magic and stuff.

The thing that made me take a look in the mirror and quit was what you're referring to. "hash oil" was starting to make its way into my friend group, i hit it a few times and was absolutely floored. I know it's just more of the same, THC, but this shit did not feel like a natural plant that made me feel things, this was a fucking drug.

The girl who introduced it to me smoked it constantly. Like non fcuking stop just to function, she would take multiple bong rips several times a day and just do nothing. I couldn't believe something that absolutely floored me could make somebody normal.

THC is absolutely addictive, the fact that you don't vomit your guts out when quitting doesn't change that. The pendulum needed some correcting from the refer madness idea, but it has swung waaaay too fucking far. The shit is terrible for your brain, mood, all of it, and the worst part is when you're on it it's so good at convincing you it's safe. I think that makes it uniquely sneaky. Somebody who smokes crack is quickly going to realize that even if they can't quit it's causing problems, but people can smoke weed for decades with the negatives being subtle enough that the user can cope their way out of them.

Haven't smoked in 12 years and don't miss it. Fuck weed.

This is absolutely true and I started having fun with it instead of getting soaked by it. I made 130k last year but after getting laid off I decided I just wasn't going to buy into the COBRA or Obamacare insurance scams. Psychiatry visits? Waived. Prescriptions? Waived. Unpaid hospital bill? Causes precisely a -2 drop in my credit score, which is still sitting somewhere around 780. The hilarious part is the hospital bill was for like 10% more than it was with insurance, but fuck it if brownoids don't have to pay I'm not going to pay either. I just pull enough investments to live on and don't pay taxes anymore. Living like a brownoid is great, they just print the fucking money out of nothing anyways.

10000%. The psychiatry visits are from weed induced illnesses. It's a terrible drug that permanently fucks you if you do it for too long.
