If you honestly believe it will end there I have a bridge to sell you
Go apply to a trade school then and teach the next generation how it's done.
We don't need any of that, we have American automobile manufacturers. The only thing we need to do is manufacture domestically, in domestic factories, employ domestically and then train domestically. The knowledge to produce an F-150 did not disappear into the annals of some third-world country. We have virtually all of the materials we need here (and in South America, which nobody will mind if we forcibly annex.) Your mindset is what sent car manufacturing overseas to begin with and it's done nothing but empower corporations that don't value the United States as a nation, culture nor people. You earnestly believe that the knowledge necessary to build a car relies upon Koreans or whatever country that is only industrialized thanks to other white nations.
Do you seriously think you can just open a plant and bam without any amount of training it'll be fully functional? We do not have enough manufacturing plants in America as it stands currently to train new workers for even the rust belt if we were to open every single old manufacturing plant right now. I don't think you guys realize just how big that industry USED to be and how much smaller it is now.

Create a different visa than h-1b for the purpose of hiring trainers and make it strict as hell so it cant be abused. Without trainers it increases the average time to open a manufacturing plant by almost 3-5 years, just look at any new manufacturing related industry and the process to start said plants start off high in time and get cut in almost half once they have enough people who know what the fuck theyre doing. Idk about you but America does not have the time to wait another 3-5 years to create easy sustainable jobs for the common person.
The Koreans were installing Korean equipment in the Korean factory. No Americans were being trained for anything.
AI: South Koreans at the Hyundai plant were installing and getting the new electric vehicle battery plant up and running, performing specialized work as engineers and mechanics. These workers were largely employed by subcontractors, such as LG Energy Solution, and had come to the U.S. on short-term business visas for the specific task, leading to confusion and later detainment during an immigration raid in September 2025

Your AI post doesn't show any of what you claimed, and you also just directly proved my point. They came, trained workers, and are now getting kicked out. Congratulations, that factory will be operational in a few months according to reports, you've just played yourself.

Even if I were to buy the logic, that there aren't enough trained Americans for these jobs, how else are these Americans going to get trained if they never have the opportunity in the first place??

At my dad's previous job, they brought in Indians that could barely speak English and he was forced to train them before he left. If we can train a bunch of foreigners then why can't they train us? Does Trump think Americans are less capable of being trained than Indians?

No matter which way you look at it, even under the most charitable light, these arguments suck.

If he is truthful then he should at least have a modicule of sense of what the talent missing in the US is, it makes him look completely fucking dishonest and just another "I need cheap labour for my pension" boomer.

Nobody ever fucking explains the talent that we are missing but they always seem to get it from 3rd world shitholes, go figure.

I would welcome H1B immigrants if we actually got something out of it. All we've gotten so far is shit.

No training. Google it.

That's the argument being made here though, is that we have a small vetted group of individuals to train the American populace. In fact that is what the original interview was about

I never got that from what he said, at least involving automotive and battery plants. Seems more like he wants experts to train Americans, then the trainers leave after the training is complete. His phrasing sucked, and I disagree that we need foreign trainers, but still.

1. All funding sent to perpetuate overseas automobile factories is now confiscated and will be put to use by the state in order to create manufacturing centers in the United States.
2. All domestic automobile executives will be put on a probationary period in which they may either assist in preparing these factories, with output that meets the high standard for American vehicles, or they may resign and will be summarily presented to a firing squad.
3. Laborer positions may be applied to via a system similar to H-1B with new limitations. All workers will reside exclusively within company towns and will not have true citizenship; if they are caught outside of these towns they will be presented to firing squad. These foreign individuals may work in a laborer position wherein 50% of their salary will be provided to the state, with the other 50% sent home to their families. Factory workforces may have a maximum of 10% foreign labor, which is decided via a competitive testing and vetting system. Foreign laborers do not have the same rights as Americans.
4. The above system will be deliberately packed with white collar positions (significantly more than necessary) with a hiring process favoring those who are racist against non-whites and non-Americans. This is to ensure that conditions for foreign laborers remain incredibly bad while conditions for domestic laborers are very good, but foreigners will fight each other to work here anyway, as I know they don't have any self-respect.
5. After twenty-five years of the above system, when we are certain we have the "knowledge to manufacture" you value so much, we will immediately gather all foreign workers and present them to a firing squad.

You seriously think a battery plant is run by 300 people? A small plant ALONE employees over 1000 people, and large gigafactories hire 10k. They were hired to train, and considering it was 300 out of 1000 people, AND the plant is expecting to open up only a few MONTHS behind schedule due to the deportations it's very VERY easy to know that people got trained

It's not that we're less capable, it's that we refuse to work for peanuts and expect to afford things like our own homes instead of living five to a room like Jeets and Spics do. That's totally unacceptable to Corporate America.
