I think having a $1600 a month locked in housing cost has benefits in the long term. An $1800 a month in rental today could be up to $4700 or more in 20 years (at a 5% annual rate increase). It's not as advantageous as buying a house used to be, but it's still better than renting.

I imagine the redditards of 2045 will be complaining about how you got in on the ground floor and pulled up the ladder behind you with your 50 mortgage. Sadly predictable.
Any $x/month locked-in has potential benefits (though your total cost will go up if your home value goes up, with insurance and taxes not being held to fixed payments. But from a lender/ economic standpoint, there's value in people experiencing a concrete sense of value in their homes bc they have a piece of it. People behave differently (usually) if what they pay has more than ephemeral benefit.

And absolutely buying has greater potential upside, but my example was to highlight that on a 50-year note, at an estimated 6% rate, your $19,200 in payments in year one reduces your $200k mortgage principal only to $199,000, and it's 40 years before more than half of your payment goes to principal.

I don't disagree, shit's retarded as fuck no matter what happened. It's just more that I expect this sort of behavior from people smoking weed+formaldehyde or other retarded combos, weed by itself won't do that to you unless you are actively schizophrenic or something.
My girlfriend is still a uniform so she's usually a first responder on shit up to and including shootings, so sometimes she has to secure the crime scene and detain the suspects until homicide detectives and forensics arrive.
The first thing she learned was to shut up and don't theorize. One of the first calls she ever had to lock down her partner looked at her and went "Are you a detective? Then shut the fuck up and don't be this nigger's defense attorney" because those people will literally latch on to anything a cop says and try to use it as their defense in court.
The official stance of most police departments really is "Niggers gonna nig" and they leave it at that. People act like these fucking wild animals don't snap in a fit of rage and violence all of the time for no reason, but it DO be like dat, officer Stancil.
My point being, when you say stuff like "I expect the sort of behavior from people smoking weed and formaldehyde, or are actively schizophrenic", a nigger will JUMP on that and immediately have his public defender talking that "He's a schizophrenic who was smoking formaldehyde he wasn't in control of his actions" bullshit.

I swear to fuck, McGovern needs punching every damn day of his smug masshole life.
What do you expect, it's Massachusetts. Those people are stupid pieces of Irish shit. A bunch of plastic paddies who will vote democrat their whole lives because "Muh Daddy voted democrat". They can't think for themselves because the Irish are a bunch of European niggers.
You know when the guy with the fucking retarded AUSTRALIAN accent can say you have a gay accent, you have a gay accent.
I have to say out of all the places I've been in my life, New Jersey and Boston were the two worst. Jersey is bad because the entire state smells like shit and people are a bunch of retarded wops, but Massachusetts is just awful, so of course they would have a representative that, well, represents how utterly gay and lame they are.

people will be constructing guillotines if an $1800 house costs nearly $5000 in 20 years. we're already pretty much at the mathematical limit of what the average person can physically pay for this shit. The system will collapse before it gets there.
I wish I shared your optimism. The government tried their best to criminalize going outside for 2 years. They succeeded in many states. Zero public lynchings of politicians occurred in response, and half the country was actually livid that they weren't being more heavy handed. Not to mention state-enforced genital mutilation for brainwashed children or government-approved and funded race riots. As long as there isn't mass starvation, the niggerpuppet underlings will go along to get along, myself included :(

I don't think that I would ever buy a house in my entire life because then you are locked down to that area. I think I would always like to live in an apartment because if the city becomes niggerfied or commied out like NYC, the longest you would have to wait to move is a year and that's if the landlord refuses to let you break the lease early.
I have friends in New York and my heart goes out to them because they live in nice places in Queens and Staten Island and now they are at the mercy of this fucking numbskull mayor, just a few short years after they had to deal with some of the most draconian covid rules in the entire country. They are screwed because nobody is moving INTO the boroughs right now, everyone is scrambling to get the fuck out. But unfortunately they are stuck there because they can't sell their house.
You never realize how bright red blood is until you see it spray in a substantial amount like that.
Yeah it's not darker until it oxidizes. I always thought that arterial blood was darker but apparently it's actually brighter because it's oxygenated. I guess it's only that dark red or even purple color when it's coagulating.

Looks like Republicans offered to extend Obamacare subsidies if Democrats agreed to tighter abortion restrictions

Republicans demand tougher abortion restrictions to extend Obamacare funds

Democrats say that’s a nonstarter, arguing there are already limits on abortion access. The dispute could torpedo a deal, leading to higher health insurance premiums for millions.
What's this?

Republicans making a practical concession that pleases both the other side and swaths of independents that also delivers a win for their base at the same time?

...Guys, some one pinch me. This has to be a dream.

That Laura Ingrahm interview was terrible.

Why is she suddenly asking questions about h1b1s and things? Like yeah, these are good questions, but the timing seems off.

"H-1B visa thing won't be a big priority for you? If you wanna raise wages for Americans, you can't flood the country with THOUSANDS of foreign workers."

TRUMP: You have to bring in talent.

"We have plenty of talented people here."

TRUMP: You don't have CERTAIN talents. People have to learn. You can't take people off the unemployment line and say, "go make missiles."

"How did we do it before?"

TRUMP: I'll give you an example. In Georgia, we raided [Hyundai for] illegal immigrants. They had people from South Korea. Very dangerous job. They had 500-600 people. Early stages to make batteries, to teach people how to do it. Well, they wanted to kick them out of the country. You NEED them. You can't bring in $10B for a plant, take people off the unemployment line, and start making missiles. It doesn't work that way.

What the fuck is he talking about?

Edit: I think someone is lying to his face about H1Bs. They’re probably telling him something to the effect of “these people are just coming in to train Americans”.
