Funny how when the shutdown is about to risk affecting the politicians (loss of ATC head count, leading to delays/cancelations/reduction in flights, and shipping) they suddenly are willing to give up and capitulate. I know that's probably not it, but that's the narrative I'm going to run with :)

Call me 🌈, but this will probably change when the radical left's friend-enemy distinction fully shifts to the point where they're willing to go after 'traitors' harder than they are 'enemies'. The average normielib's 'heh violence is bad but maybe you shouldn't have been 'talking shit' (read: disagreeing with deranged leftoids)' demeanor is going to change real fast when the radicals start eating their faces.
Charlie Kirk and the VA republican were 'enemies' to them, that's why. When they find out they're also now enemies worthy of a bullet to the neck from those left of them then they'll start changing course, assuming the groyper cope doesn't work anyway.
The Left is highly adept at purity spirals and struggle sessions as they slowly boil the frog. They will continue to oust the "traitors" while promising to the now new moderates that they are above the line as they slowly ratchet it up to the next level, whereupon they will struggle session the moderates until they reach the new base requirements, and then once again make an example of the "traitors" that try to hold the line, repeat until real communism is reached.

To those looking at the GOP not bending themselves over a barrel for the Democrats for first time in decades, let me assure you: they will absolutely fumble this.
I have a new theory that either "side" in American politics immediately expends surplus political capital on the dumbest and most performative shit imaginable. Done to maintain the equilibrium, and to make more consumption and outrage for the sectarian fixations.

Dems did it with transgenderism, abortion, and climate hysteria / rapturism. Trump's doing it with tactlessly denying Epstein, having bombed Iran for the kikes, and completely fucking up the Alaska meeting with Putin. And it's just going to keep going as a cycle of increased retardation and nothing getting fixed ("nothing ever happens") until people realize you can just change culture and "just how it is" is very mutable.

This guy always looked like he would have a career as an inner-city car mechanic, cab driver or town rapist, not a movie star, yet he's working for Disney in major films. Whatever nepotistic scam he is running with the jews is so obvious that going out in public like this has no meaning beyond being an intentional insult to everyone's intelligence.

LOL 'it's ok to have my character cucked and bent over and railed by a purple hair freak, destroy the only decent character in the entire sequels for a movie, but they better hate Trump even more or that's it!'

It sucks that so many good actors got that mind virus. He's actually lucky he got anything after it at all, Dune got him some luck.

Boyega deciding that Disney personally fucked over his character out of Racism and thinking it was a good idea to voice that opinion was pretty retarded of him. Shit talking the employer that gave you your biggest role is a bad idea.

Euphoria co-stars Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney are not on the best of terms, it is reported.

After six years on the HBO teen drama, opposing political views have got between Zendaya, 29, and 28-year-old Sydney’s friendship which is now in tatters, insiders claim.

It is said that Zendaya is ‘refusing’ to do press calls for the upcoming season of Euphoria with Sydney, and that they will not be seen standing next to one another, according to sources working on the show.

This is our countrys debt to GDP ratio, they dont DESERVE any parties right now
seemed to have really touched a nerve with this post, not sure why, I dont think the Debt to GDP is the end all be all of a nations economic stability but I do think that what should be taken away is how we rose so quickly and show no signs of decreasing

Our manufacturing since the 1970s has done nothing but decline so the idea we are "taking out loans for investment into the company" is bordering on ludicrous, what you need billions to buy office space? Perhaps now with the rise of massive data centers (a phenomenon that only started in the last 5 years en masse) you could make that argument but its begs the question of what all that debt is for?

As you look around your country and ask yourself what do we have today as a nation they dident have in the 1970s, internet? phones? is that worth 60% increased debt? WHERE DID THAT MONEY GO? (spoiler its mostly stock buybacks)

Do we have better streets? do we have safer communities? we we have more opportunity?

Im not asking this in a rhetorical or MATI way I mean them as real questions, do you feel this absurd spending increase by our government has lead to any palpable change in a positive way for the average American?
