The true crime of the stimulus checks in DC's eyes is that it went to the American public directly. It was only supposed to go to corporations that give Congress kickbacks
Well frankly, isn't that what the entire SSA system is supposed to be? You pay in what you get out, cause people are too stupid to save for retirement. It's true though I suppose, if people have the money today it would go to weed and gambling instead of the gov paying it out later over time. Reality is shit

Pretty much a vast majority of Americans now are of the adage 'having no weed is worse than having no money' or having lots of money and no weed sucks worse. All the EBT and ACA benies go to THC consumption now, and that's just how it is.

ETA: Anyone that disagrees with this is a pothead on bennies, 100%

I wish i had an account there just to fatpacks posting "is over, the Republicans won, we shut down the goverment and we got nothing in return, everyone will vote red for the next 999999999 years and soon straigh white man facism will begin and every single trans folx and BIPOC will be incarcerated in death rollercoasters and shoot from cannons directly to an active volcano and every woman will be put in breeding camps"
What's stopping you, faggot?

I guess the argument is that even though they won these regional elections, the rest of the country will react negatively? Loooool they think anyone will remember this shit in 2 weeks?

Can not wait for a commie to grab up her seat.

That's one of the good things i suppose.I cannot believe that we willingly sat on one of the most reliable forms of clean energy.(Actually i kind of get Chernobyl is scary)
The RBMK 1000 used in Chernobyl was a fundamentally flawed design, The thing was never even stress tested because they just rushed it into production. Reactor 1, 2 and 3 also ran for 14 more years without incident after they replaced the control rods so the thing wouldn't blow up anymore if you tried to engage the emergency shutdown.

This is why great men like Andrew Jackson buckbroke our injuns so hard that 99% of their land became White lebensraum and they don't even consider saying stuff like this aside from a few urban liberals.
speaking of, does anyone have decent books about Andrew Jackson that they'd recommend? I've been looking for quality biographies for some of the old presidents but I'm always skeptical about them being filled with revisionist filth

NYT: F.B.I. Director Is Said to Have Made a Pledge to Head of MI5, Then Broken It (archive)
British security officials rely on the bureau for high-tech surveillance tools — the kind they might need to monitor a new embassy that China wants to build near the Tower of London. The head of MI5, Ken McCallum, asked Mr. Patel to protect the job of an F.B.I. agent based in London who dealt with that technology, according to several current and former U.S. officials with knowledge of the episode.

Mr. Patel agreed to find funding to keep the posting, the officials said. But the job had already been slated to disappear as the White House moved to slash the F.B.I. budget. The agent moved to a different job back in the United States, saving the F.B.I. money but leaving MI5 officials incredulous.

It was a jarring introduction to Mr. Patel’s leadership style for British officials. They had long forged personal ties with their U.S. counterparts, as well as with three other close allies, in an intelligence partnership known as the Five Eyes.

His support cratered in 2006 after we started realizing the wars were not really about anything related to 9/11 and his open borders push, and then the 2008 bailouts cemented his legacy.
Bush jr. tried to clean up his daddys mess, that Nigger produced as head of the CIA, Vice President and President, namely prevent the dollar from going belly up and convince the Sauds to keep investing in treasuries by poorly finishing his daddys Job in Iraq and trying to get rid of the Taliban, his daddy helped to build up from goat herders to a military power. Jr. never had his own profile, and the hate he got from the Clintonians was pretty much show, unfortunately every god damn stupid millennial an GenX faggot fell for, todays voter base of the "justice" dems

You can also thank the Bush administration for ruining a generation of political discourse by making the Daily Show and Colbert Report relevant.

No lie, I didn't realize there were actual humans who supported Lil' Bush.
The 2000 election was one of the closest in history. To this day, liberals insist that Bush cheated. Other than the fact that the winner would be the first president of the new century, the election was pretty boring. Were it not for 9/11 and the following wars, Bush may have had a relatively boring presidency and maybe only served a single term.

No one was really sure what was going on following 9/11 and there was an assumption that Iraq had some involvement because, at the time, Iraq trained, sponsored, and aided several terrorist groups. The PLO was headquartered in Baghdad prior to the invasion, for example. Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility and they were in bed with the Taliban, who were in control of Afghanistan. It was a giant mess and people supported Bush because, at that point in American history, you were supposed to support your president in times of crisis. It's not like the guy was going anywhere and you wanted him to do his best.

The contingent of liberals screeching about the Iraq War was small from 2002 to 2004. Something like two-thirds of Americans approved of military action in Iraq before the war and it jumped to like 75% approval in the initial invasion. It wasn't until after the 2004 election that approval for the war waned. Another major factor in tanking George W. Bush's favorability was that, from 2004-2008, there was a saturation of Jon Liebowitz-type "claughter" all over media. Michael Moore made a killing off his documentaries which included a bunch of blatantly false information. Even on 4chan back in the 2000's, it was routine to mock George W. Bush.

Not saying GW was great or that the Iraq War was a good idea (it was not), but I think it's important to note that a lot of the hate GW dude gets was manufactured. If SNL could convince Americans that Sarah Palin seriously believed she could see Russia from her backyard, and that it was not a light-hearted mom joke, then think about what the media could do in the early- and mid-2000's when people were a lot less questioning.

The reactors at Chernobyl were CRIMINALLY fucked up. Being against nuclear power because of Chernobyl is like being against drinking water because people have been known to drown.

"Ol' Hickory" was a fucking madman. I have learned so many things about him that make me think that he wasn't a real person and a fictional badass president.
Imagine historians not being able to narrow down whether you've been between 5-100 duels. I guess dead men tell no tales lmao.

I've been doing the 100/year giving plan, but some of the latest mod/top level antics have made me pull back. And believe me I've seen some BS on adjacent stuff on here that'll make people go nuts. Anyway, I'm hopeful now the gov can be sane a few months but in January this will all repeat I'm sure.
I was literally in a place to get a money order for True and Honest after the election. I spent alot of time here and it made sense to me. Then Null or the jannies shut this thread down due to the special privileges the Trump thread get and his tism. It opened back up a day later. But alas.

Trump, or whoever decides security, shoudl definitely give them extra protection right now until the redditors and trannies calm down and forget.
Because the duration would be infinite that sounds quite expensive. I suggest we compromise and give Chuck Shumer a MyPillow to bite while he gets fucked in the ass.

Loomer has endorsed cutting off aid to Israel.

After spending this last week in Israel and along the Syrian border, I’ve reached a firm conclusion: Israel must end its dependence on U.S. aid and the US must end all aid to Israel.

I truly hope by the end of the Trump administration and by the beginning of a new administration in 2028 that we see zero aid flowing to Israel.

US taxpayers currently send $3.8 billion annually to Israel, and in return we get roughly $48 billion back through defense contracts, pharmaceuticals and technology. The math is clear, but the military aid itself serves as golden handcuffs on Israel—and a constant source of agitation for Americans that has manifested into a distraction from domestic policy, even though our investment directly serves the interests of US national security through counter terrorism and shared intelligence in the Middle East.

True America First policy means we stop dictating to a sovereign nation how to run its government and military, and that we stop telling Israel how to respond to Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah.

Cut the US aid, and Israel becomes fully sovereign. America First means we don’t tell other countries how to govern or how to neutralize threats. America First means we don’t get to tell Israel not to eradicate HAMAS or not to bomb nuclear facilities. It means we don’t get to tell the Mossad to not kill the Ayatollah when he’s hiding in a bunker. America First means the US no longer gets to dictate to Israel how they manage their nuclear arsenal.

America First means liberation from being a global baby sitter.

Once the aid to Israel ends, the Pentagon’s leash comes off. Israel’s wars become Israel’s wars. We lose the leverage to urge restraint on bombing Iran or eradicating Hamas. We lose the ability to tell Israel to not enter GAZA. We lose the ability to tell Israel not to neutralize Hezbollah.

Yes, we’ll forfeit that $48 billion return on our $3.8 billion investment, but Americans will no longer have a scapegoat to blame for every domestic problem.

In the end, it’s a win-win.

I had an incredible week in Israel, and I am eternally grateful for my travels across the Holy Land, including trips to the very edge of the Gaza border and the Syrian border, both of which have been ravaged by Islamic terrorism and war. After meeting with victims of Islamic terrorism, survivors of October 7th who defended their Kibbutz from a HAMAS ambush on October 7th, members of the IDF who are struggling with severe PTSD, parents of children who were murdered in air strikes by Hezbollah in the Golan Heights, members of the Knesset, and family members of the victims of Abu Mohammed Al-Julani’s Islamic violence against religious minorities in Southern Syria, my biggest takeaway from my trip abroad this week is clear:

Let’s end all U.S. aid to Israel.

The best way to support Israel while being 100% America First is for Israel to be sovereign and to call for an end to all US aid to Israel.

A country with financial handcuffs cannot make decisions to preserve itself and ensure its survival if their funding is dependent on taking orders.

A sovereign Israel that never takes aid from the US can respond to its hostile Islamic neighbors anyway it sees fit.

The beauty of that is that it’s no longer going to be America’s concern.

When we eventually cut off all aid to Israel, we will also be able to get rid of our military base in Qatar because we need to make sure we are very America First and we can’t be making deals with the Muslim Brotherhood.

By encouraging Israel to be independent of US aid, we help ensure Israel is not destroyed by hostile Islamic nations who want to convince the US that Islam is capable of coexisting. We also get to eliminate all scapegoats of foreign interference in the US. Since we are ending aid to Israel, there won’t be a need for
@AIPAC
anymore, which means us Americans will need to find a new boogeyman to blame for all of our domestic issues and failures.

If you truly believe Israel has a right to exist, you should call for all US aid for Israel to end.

We are $38 trillion in debt and we can’t claim to be America First while dictating to Israel if they can enter GAZA or bomb Iran.

No more money. No more babysitting.

It’s going to be amazing.

I hope more people will travel to Israel and the Syrian border like I did this week so they can experience the same revelation I just had in the Holy Land.

I had such an amazing week, and now I feel such a commitment to advocating for all aid to Israel to be cut off.

In the end, everyone is going to be thrilled. No more aid to Israel and then Israel gets to determine its destiny and the US no longer will be allowed to tell Israel what to do, because we are AMERICA FIRST.

And now Israel gets to be Israel First.

Israel will no longer need to answer to the world, and the US will no longer need to play mediator.

We all win in the end.

Americans have already decided that a country that gives us a $48 billion return on our investment every year is not our friend.

We are going to be declining $48 billion from our friend because America First.

I was told it’s not America First to loan your friend $3.8 billion and get $48 billion back.

That is called America Last.

I don’t make the rules.

Very good sign, I've been advocating for this for a long time and it looked like it was happening slowly but this might speed things up.
