A "Degenerates Against Fascism" rally that includes furries and 'pups' was held today near Portland ICE Detention Center in Oregon.



A Protestor at the Portland ICE facility set up pre-printed signs ahead of the “Degenerates Against Fascism” protest. Signs are organized by subject: - Immigrants, ICE, Cruelty- Racism- Science, Public Health - Medicare, Medicaid. A woman told the man reporting on this that they paid for the signs herself before another protestor blocked her from speaking to him with an umbrella.

The republicans were eating shit the longer this shutdown went on because it made them look like incompetent retards too scared to do anything to their base and independents. My guess: fed workers and their union reps were raising hell.

It was kind of underreported but about a week or so ago one of largest fed employee unions were telling the Dems they need to compromise and re-open the government so all the furloughed employees could go back to work and get paid. These unions are very important funderaisers for the DNC and Fed employees have a tendency to vote Dem, so the Democrats couldn't really afford to continue pissing them off.

reminds me of the toxx clauses back in the day on somethingawful's let's play subforum. you'd toxx clause yourself to do some thing, usually post videos on a set schedule, and if you failed you were to be punished in some way. avatar changes, the little user quote thing, all the way up to subforum and even account bans.

honestly i believe gavin is probably quietly happy this resulted in no major chimpouts, because his state would've been hit very hard by them, but even his attempts to seem upset about this are lackluster.

I was fully ready for Republicans to give some serious concessions to get the CR through. Even extending the emergency subsidies would barely be a concession since it would effectively maintain the status quo. Thune can apparently follow through. If this isn't winning to you, you have seriously misaligned expectations.

The left NEVER give out stimulus checks. Fuck people still remember how Biden kiked people out of the last stimulus check, making it less than was promised by Trump and only doing it because Trump started the process before leaving office

As I said in the thread before they "Rallied" Votes in traditionally blue areas and this rally achieved "Normal Democrat Numbers" outside of New York because that was a Total Retard Show.
