If you are having this reaction now, imagine it being the 1980s. When aired - Italian government snatched it up and the director was charged with obscenity. Lot of myths came about because it was alleged as a snuff film, but there are no records of this. What is true is the animals killed in the film...were actually killed.

It's fucking terrifying and depressing because they're all trying to escape to our countries as well. They could pump 100 million people into the US and it wouldn't even dent their population. They're a fucking plague. These news stories you see where they complain places are restricting Indians from immigrating are infuriating because they believe they're ENTITLED to move to your country and take jobs from your people just because they got a degree from Street Shitter University Bangalore. I have zero sympathy when I see shit happen to Indians in this thread because they're an existential threat to the entire world. This idea that they're somehow so great boon as workers to the world when they're completely incapable of improving their own country is absurd. They're a living, breathing bioweapon.

So that image is apparently a full body dummy with lots of parts molded and painted carefully. What sold them it was snuff (along with actual animals being killed in ritual sacrifice scenes) is there is a section where it’s a close up of the actress and it is her - but only torso up, and using clever harnesses and props.

This being the late 70-80s, all practical effects. It being done as a found footage film about lost tribes in the Amazon (I think) also sold them on this.
