I agree, Canada has always had many of the same problems as we do now since forever at this point. It was just not as bad until 2015, or maybe hidden better is a more accurate description. For the longest time, Canada was still better than the third and second world, so it's short-comings were more forgivable, especially if you came from a second or third world country. I mean ffs there are Indians are willing to leave Canada on their own now, probably since there's nothing to loot in Canada anymore.

Apparently, this has been the case since the 90s. I talked to a person that visited the USA in the 90s, he said that while Americans were driving new and modern cars and shit, Canadians literally had scrapes. Canadians WANT to own nothing, and will be happy doing so.

I didn't expect it to be that bad. But I honestly can believe it. I remember using Google Maps to look for a rather north-eastern area in the province of British Columbia. I believe it was somewhere around the area of Fort Nelson or Snake River? Anyway, pretty bad in some areas, with poverty. But there was an area that was pretty bad that there was no way how bad it was, had to be a reservation or something. I might be wrong tho.

especially if they've been convinced that owning nothing will mean they're the exact opposite of Americans, which is somehow good and virtuous to be the exact opposite of, and then they'll be happy.

well, it's easily explained, actually. Native culture dictates that anything that's outlived its usefulness "has to go back to the Earth". It's why they let totem poles rot. Nothing's more convenient than allowing garbage to go back to the Earth on the front lawn. They don't actually believe in preserving things. That's why they're going to all the museums and demanding stuff back that their ancestors sold to museums (or were collected under less legitimate circumstances).

A while back some guy claimed the spirit of his grandfather was trapped in a huge totem pole in the Royal BC Museum in Victoria. So then the NDP government moved heaven and earth to get the totem pole out of there and shipped it back to Alert Bay or wherever. I don't know how spirits get stuck in totem poles, but it sounds sus. Like, was he put there ON PURPOSE by a Shaman (hypothetically), or did it just wander into the tree trunk and get stuck somehow? Make it make sense.
 
I've been dooming a bit hard lately but it's hard to take blame with so much bad news coming so fast.

For the record I only have gossip about the up coming Con defections. But in my defence there really is no way to prove anything like this until it happens.

Heck I don't blame them for defecting because the Conservatives are pathetic losers who want to bring in more Jeets. Not that the Liberals or NDP are any better.

Guess my only political home is slamming brewskis with Liz May.

Don't suspect any more will happen after Jeneroux's resignation (which also hilariously enough isn't until March, and is in a riding the Cons will retain), there's enough rumours of the Con leadership going scorched earth on anyone else defecting that it probably blunted further movement for the moment.

More likely IMO is this kills Poilievre as leader in January. If there's one thing the federal Cons love to do it's turn on themselves the moment a party head stumbles, especially when it's being primed by Ford chasing the top job and only two seats remaining between an snap 2026 election and yet another Liberal majority. And guaranteed in the traditional Con fashion they will stick foot in mouth and choose the worse possible person to lead.

More intact family structures. The presence of a dad / extended family in their lives suppresses random violence and gang participation. Just look for places that aren't known for ghettos, and you'll be fine looking for places to live in the US South. The worst negro behavior is found in major cities with packs of roving "youths" skipping school and joining the local gang. Gangs exist in rural areas too, so you need to know which areas are just bad. Latino gangs/cartels are also moving into the US and they're far more competent than black gangs. Afaik, less random crime and more organized crime with latinos. Still best to avoid latino ghettos, which includes large parts of Texas to start.

This is the conversation we need to have.

I've been solely investing into the high equity ETFs like like VEQT, VGRO, ZSP, etc. With my very limited investing knowledge, I am thinking these are safe in theory if Canada crashes tomorrow, even though they are the TSX, since they're all portfolios based of the S&P and as I understand invested in mostly American companies. This is something I have been meaning to look into for a while.
 
A Pakistani gimmigrant is granted a stay in Canada after killing a 22 year old woman after a road rage incident. Apparently a honked horn set him off and he caused a five car collision. Also, amnesty is built into the latest Liberal budget for millions of gimmigrants already here. There is no voting out of this mess. This government has nothing but contempt for white Canadians.

Oh dont get me wrong; I have a veggie (and hopefully soon berry bushes) growing every summer. I understand it's not a full on good idea to goo 100% into something. However, in terms of currencies, gold/silver is almost unbeatable when SHTF.
